can someone please remind me when the DRS was first seen to be open?
Was it on the run down to the hairpin? Did he open it on the preceeding straight which wasn't a DRS zone at this GP?

Ummmm....Senna in Japan 1991...but then he gave that race win to his good mate, Mr Gerhard Berger :) if i recall corrctly, berger let senna past in the same fashion earlier in the race once mansell had binned it. so i think he was returning the favour Yes Gerhard was a gentleman early in the race. ...

Re: Schumacher to Red Bull next year? (Seriously!)
It's not a crazy idea. I'd wager that Schumacher would still be better for one season at Red Bull in 2013 than anybody in Red Bull's young driver program. They still need more experience. If he leaves Mercedes voluntarily, I would expect him to retire. He is embedded in that team now and who knows,...

Re: how many races have you watched since becoming a f1 fan.
I became a fan somewhere around 1963-'64, but had to wait until we had a telly to see any races. Even then, coverage was fragmentary. Only since the early 1980s was it possible to see entire races on television, and though it was sometimes impossible to watch them live, I saw most of them since the...

Re: Monaco - Fastest Laps Averaged over Race Distance Graph
I love all these statistics, BUT this is pointless, Formula 1 has never ever been about driving the balls off the car for a whole race . Because that has never been possible, the driver has always had to conserve their car as well, whether its tyres, mechanical components or fuel. You only need to ...

Seeing as how I'm like the only Mexican in this forum, I can assure everyone it's safe enough to bring a grand prix here, most of the drug cartel related violence occurs in the north of the country near the US border, and in certain areas, but even then it's still safe to walk the streets. Re: Monaco - Fastest Laps Averaged over Race Distance Graph
It says that the Red Bulls were not the quickest car in race trim despite having clean air (Webber at least). I think ? This is pretty obvious anyway, as Webber couldn't pull away considerably from the pack.. Alonso's Ferrari looks the most consistent, perhaps because he held back off the gearbox of...

A racing incident no doubt... 1- Grosjean goes to the right to try to block Alonso 2- Alonso still manages to find a gap and gets past Grosjean 3- Hamilton, Alonso and Grosjean are WAY TOO close; grosjean should turn to the left to leave more space for all. 4- He doesnt go to the left, and he gets clipped. Hmmm. I wonder why he...

Since every other driver gets one of these.
