Re: 2023 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Race Thread
Russell much faster than Hamilton is abit of a stretch. I expect the race would have come back to Hamilton in the second half of the race if it wasn't for the safety car.

Re: 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix Race Thread
I'm watching the race now - did Russell just burn up his tyres keeping up with Hamilton in the first stint? Or did they get ruined by following Hamilton? I thought if Russell was genuinely faster than Hamilton he would have been closer than 0.9s behind. My personal opinion is Russell burnt through ...

Liberty and Skysports will be working hard this season to try and get the fans interested in this season. I missed all of practice, quali and only watched the race due to waiting for the football, if football was on at the same time then there was only one winner. I know some fans of the sport love ...

Re: Michael Masi. 1 Year on.
Largely in agreement with this. The only item I'll argue is that the rules did seem to have room for (creative) interpretation - which is why I think this argument over breaking them goes on. Regardless of that I still think that, as weak-willed several may think he was, he was thrown under the bus...

Re: Michael Masi. 1 Year on.
With the distance of a 13 months to reflect on things here's what I believe happened. Pre the Abu Dhabi the high ups at F1 and the FIA agreed that basically under no circumstances would an opportunity be missed for a grandstand finale if the one presented itself. The race would not be allowed to fi...

Re: Michael Masi. 1 Year on.
I'm sure this has been done to death, but didn't Hamilton let Verstappen overtake him at that corner on purpose with the intention of re-passing down the longer back straight? A move which, incidentally, might have worked if Verstappen hadn't visibly weaved all down the straight? I've always been m...

Had Hamilton raced as he did on the final lap we saw, would their irritation have centred on his failure to cover the inside on the corner on which Verstappen got past? Re: Do red bull have a max verstappen problem.
Now that we have seen Verstappen in a few situations I think I have a clearer picture. It's not that he can't fight clean (he can), and not that he doesn't have racecraft (he has). It's that he makes decisions about whether to play fair, dependent on the opposition and the circumstances. with Hamil...

Re: Hamilton/Verstappen Brazil 22
I'm not sure why he acts like this with Lewis. It's what happened at Copse in 2021. Verstappen was expecting Hamilton to roll over as he had on every other occasion that year. When he didn't and hit the barrier and saw Hamilton celebrating vigorously after winning that was it. Bullies hate a taste ...

I don't watch the skysports build up show anymore, due to the coverage not being very good. Has anyone seen the Hamilton and Glock piece re-watching 2008?, asked if 2008 was similar to 2021 and Hamilton replied no as 2021 was manipulated by someone.

Actually I think that part of the article is particularly untrue. If I read everything correctly (English is not my first language...

I did vote for lenient, but there are a couple of items that I am chewing over. Before I go over those, I will state that overspending is overspending, regardless of what it is on (unless, of course, it is exempt). So the it's-only-in-catering argument holds no water for me; that simply frees up mo...

Once Max led after turn 3 the race was done, the Redbull was the quicker car. Max was told to quicken up on the mediums to get the tyres in the right window.
