Re: Tires Are Not Really The Issue
Interim changes... Increase the pitlane speed limit to 100kph (60kph now is ridiculous). Require mandatory 2 tire changes. Raise current PU component (ICE, etc) limits from 3 to 5. For me the real elephant in the room is the inability to pass due to the aero washout following cars. When you can't pa...

Re: Fernando Alonso to race for McLaren at the 2019 Indy 500
The question I find myself pondering is; does any of this actually add to his legacy in the way he intends? Honestly, I'm interested to know what others think about this. The idea of winning the "Triple Crown" is appealing and all but, in practice, is it really something that changes the way you th...

The video replay clearly shows there was zero time for a blue flag to be displayed (for either driver). Wish I had a nickel for every time during the past 55 years that a driver punted another driver. Ocon was very close Verstappen for 2 laps and being held up apprarently. How do you think he arriv...

Perhaps we should ask the teams whether the "ranking" during practice matters. It does for sponsors. Perform well, get written about, get air time for your sponsors. Beyond that, probably not. Perhaps we should ask the teams whether the "ranking" during practice matters. My guess is that people like to see rankings (for whatever reason) and the sport's pundits (broadcasters, governing body, race promoter, etc) use "rankings" to promote the suspense for the weekend and sell tickets. IMO, this is beyond simple. Had Hamilton not had the engine failure in Malaysia in 2016, then Hamilton would have won the 2016 WDC. Absent that, he has 5 WDCs today. So... 5 + 1 = 6. I don't feel the caustic situation at Mercedes between the two drivers would have been tolerated by the team, had Ros...

You didn't offer "NONE" as a choice. Instead we are left to vote "Other" Not to mention that Hamilton also was not a choice. Hamilton would be the ONLY driver (in the Ferrari) capable of beating Hamilton in the Mercedes. All that assumes the Ferrari was really capable. It did well in qualifying, but...
