Re: Do red bull have a max verstappen problem.

Yes, lots of other top drivers have had an amount of arrogance, but come on, a 6th place finish instead of 7th when you already have the title...

Re: 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix Race Thread

Perez played the team game to help Max win the title last year and Max with the title won can't do him a favour back ..Let's hope he doesn't need a favour somewhere down the line . So are Merc back or this just a track specific pace ? I think it's slightly to do with them sorting the car but as the...

Re: 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix Race Thread

They know apex speeds etc, maybe Max was simply not making turn 2? Verstappen oversped into the second turn to torpedo himself into a naturally closing gap. I think it's a recurring theme at this point that Verstappen has no respect or willingness whatsoever to defend or race cleanly agai...

Re: 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix Race Thread

If you need any proof verstappen is a totally selfish sod, that radio message was it. Which one? Near the end, the last lap I believe, the team repeatedly told Max to give the place back and Max was silent for a while. He then told them that they should never ask him to do that again as he had expl...

Re: Do red bull have a max verstappen problem.

It is beyond belief that Max would act like that when he's already WDC, the team has the WCC and he gained nothing more than a 6th-place finish instead of a 7th.

Perhaps his ego is so fragile that the thought of finishing behind Perez was just too much to take.

Re: 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix Race Thread

The amount of people using Perez's history of races, his tyre situation or whatever, as some kind of defence for Max totally and utterly ignoring his team for points he does not need and a race position that means nothing to him, is astounding.

Nothing poor about not implementing team orders for any of the top 3. Those complaining that Max should have let Perez though... why? Sainz didn't let Leclerc through and the mercs were free to race. Ultimately this is how it should always be. Perez let Verstappen by TWICE in Barcelona and didn't a...

Re: 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix Race Thread

For those defending Max and talking about tyres. the simple fact is, his team told him to pass and chase so Perez allowed him to pass without any time being lost. Max then refused point blank to honor his team and teammate. Perez finished well ahead of the car behind so Max could easily have let him...

The exact place K mag and Ricciardo crashed

At what point exactly does a supercar become a hypercar?
My understanding was that Hypercars would replace LMP1, but initially at least would be slower - is that right?
This is a good read.
