Hamilton was favorite at the start of 2018 and still is, with a clear #2 and the fastest or nearly fastest and 4 years of winning all titles it's not that easy to dethrone Mercedes. Takes an effort worthy of Alonso ending Ferrari winning in 2005. IMO Merc is favorite all the way until the reg changes
