I don't think Vettel is as good as Alonso, so they have lost something, but Alonso was burned so both did the right thing, the split was necessary. I'm pretty sure Alonso will be doing some serious epic races with their last 2 cars, not fighting for the titles though.

Sad, sad news. I'll second that sentiment. Sad indeed, I assume you mean the lack of financial arrangement. Poor JB just got completely screwed. They've been together 5/6 years and after 11 months of marriage it is over. So it must've hit the rocks at least 2-3 months ago after 8 months of marriage...

He is not going to win more races or titles, he got the best of F1 already and McLaren is not paying him that much, better try WEC or other stuff ASAP, specially if he had any offers.

At least that is what Spanish newspaper Marca is saying , due poor performance he can get-out but he will stay at least for one more year. I never saw a driver that do less for the fans and the sport than Kimi, and yet he is voted 1st, bizarre, also no Hamilton?. Glad to see so many people following F1 on internet, sadly FOM and Bernie will do nothing about it.

I still feel that maybe Alonso should have gone to RBR in 2008 instead of returning to Renault (what good was going to come from that, honestly?) He went to Renault for only one year, the deal with Ferrari was done for him to drive in 2009, but Ferrari couldn't get rid of Kimi and he stayed in Rena...

Very good performance so far. But he will finish 3rd in WDC. Amazing, 3rd in the WDC with the second best car and with a teammate that is trash in qualy. Ok, so you mean to say, not very good performance so far by Vettel. Vettel is good this year, but is not extraordinarie or anything like that.
