I cannot for the life of me see any sane reason to ban them.

It's fine a judge asking a person reveal their face in a court and so on but otherwise It's personal preference.

Not with my current diesel beast but when I had my Toyota MR2 I would fill it up with super unleaded to get a few extra horsepower. The Shell super seemed better than the Tesco super and those were the two that were available for me to buy.
