Re: The Vettel/Webber/Sepang Uberthread

As an aside, it seems very clear that Webber will NOT be at Red Bull next year. Not if Vettel has anything to do with it. Surely you don't say those sorts of things about your team-mate ("he's never helped me") and expect to keep working with him in the long term. I think we may get a gloves off fi...

Re: Least favourite driver and why?

How more people don't dislike Karun is beyond me. It's the unibrow? It's the fact that he was ubiquitous (thankfully that's calmed down a bit now) yet had no real talent, constantly trying to get involved in everything like he was a big deal "my father made this race happen"... Yet every time he st...

Re: Will Qualifying cost Lotus this year?

In answer to the OP - yes. They don't have a fast enough car to win consistently like they did in Australia, and before long, teams will be on top of the tyre situation and strategy will no longer be as big an issue. The fact remains that the two main components of a successful season are qualifying...

The video cuts a few seconds into it, so surely this is impossible. Also, it might simply be running through a pre-determined demo program completely unrelated to any circuit.

Re: "If I don't fight for a win I am no longer a racing driv

Reutmann's example is vastly different to the one with Vettel/Webber. He disobeyed team orders and refused to move over for Jones. In Sepang 2013, both drivers had agreed pre-race that if they find themselves in that position after the first pit stop that they would hold positions. Further to that,...

Re: Vettel/Webber - Could Horner have ordered Seb drop place

Horner was actually asked the question of why didn't he tell Seb to relinquish the place, and his answer was something along the lines of

"Do you really think he'd have given the place back if we'd asked him?"

To me, quite frankly, that says that Horner doesn't actually mind what Vettel did.
