Re: Driver(s) of the Day - 2016 Russian Grand Prix
Alonso! Just look at his fastest lap...is doesn't make sense how he did that... Easy. He had to ride around most of the race to save fuel. He told his guys over the radio that he wanted to have "fun" so he put in a hot lap. That's the problem with these power units and tracks that are fuel thirsty ...

Yes, but the hapless Lewis only has two engines left. He's going to incur at least another 10 grid-spot penalty this season, and he'll have to run some races in de-tuned mode.Lotus49 wrote:Still think Lewis for much the same reasons as I did before. 17 races is a huge amount to mount a comeback.

Re: When will everyone realize McLaren's wearing no clothes?
Honda has clearly made big strides. They're no longer just moving obstacles. The McLaren Honda is a mid-field car, it's just lacking power to overtake. When Alonso cleared the melee at the start, he was able to manage the gap to those behind him. Attrition helped Alonso finish better than what the ...

I don't know. Johnny Herbert is an expert. I mean maybe Ricciardo was unmotivated and that's how he got the tire puncture in the first place? The results says it all.infi24r wrote:This is the type of expert analysis you can expect on Sky.

I mean, did you see Alonso's qualy gaps on Raikkonen in 2014? I used to defend Lewis thinking he grew more humble after his 2011 season, but he's acting no differently than in 2007 when he felt the world owed everything to him.

Vettel, Verstappen and Alonso. Hulkenberg and Rosberg both drove very well until they made key errors. In fact it was probably heading towards Rosberg's best win until he ran wide. Really? Alonso?
