I think Trulli must have had a problem, to be going that slow and still run out of energy is strange. But as it affected both his cars perhaps it was a setup issue?

Re: Dual exhausts in 2016?

Quite frankly I couldn't give a damn what the engine sounds like, it's a car, not a musical instrument. The fact I can hear tyre squeal and other noises (as well as not being deafened by going to an F1 event) is actually an improvement, imo.

Re: customer cars?

I'd happily have customer cars today. A team should be able to buy a chassis like they already do engines, and build the aero over that framework. They wouldn't be part of the constructors championship, but drivers keep their points and a teams championship would get a small prize (comparable to say...

Out of curiosity, would the restrictions on radio communication have any impact on what the team could tell Hamilton? I thought they couldn't say anything about gaps between cars, I don't know about others strategies. I did think you could say about gaps between cars because that's not telling a dr...

Re: Verstappen is Great Talent, But Surely Without God Compl

Agree on Sainz, he's looking the more impressive of the two at the moment. Don't agree. Without all of Verstappen's bad luck (he's really been unlucky) he would be were he should be: above Sainz in the point standings. And even if he wouldn't be, he's still showing more potential given how big the ...

Re: Verstappen is Great Talent, But Surely Without God Compl

Not a fan of Verstappen at all. He's clearly talented, but all season long he's been determined to crash, by the look of some of his moves. He also seems to believe his own hype. I prefer Sainz, both on and off track. Pit lane to points in Monaco is incredible. I hope to see him collecting the point...

I prefer the deeper, quieter engine myself. It sounds especially good if you have a good sound system and the low end comes through. It could be more agressive, but as long as we can still here tyres, the crowd and it's still a lower frequency.

How it was last time, meh. With modifications, very much for.
If it means we get higher revs from the engine, higher race speeds, great. Just don't bring back qualifying fuel for the first stint. Also, giving the ability to run the race with one tank if the team desire.

Oh yay, more cries of boring races when we have tyres like the Bridgestones. I like where Pirelli is at the moment, hard enough that the race isn't a lottery like it could be in early 2013, but soft enough that the teams still have to be smart with their stratagies. The driver I'd vote for isn't even on the list. Why just have the top 10? Once again the DOTD poll is flawed. When even Formula E can't have a particularly exciting race except on corners they invented, I think it's time we retired Monaco. Piquet should have won on any other track. Doesn't help that half the lap had yellow flags for most of the race, but still. Can't even think of a DotD. Probably Piquet. H...

Why don't they do the full circuit? Would it drain the battery to much if they were to go up Rivage? I think I read that they could, but they didn't think they could when they planned the event. Can't remember where so I'm afraid I can't give a source. Still, I imagine the Monégasque are happy half...

I think it's too late for Hulk and Perez. Grosjean has an outside chance, but if it doesn't happen soon it's game over. Im all for getting rid of adjustable brake balances, differential settings and air/fuel mixes. I like the regulation of 100kg fuel per race, but lets remove ...
