Mark Hughes said on The Race podcast yesterday that these simulation tools gave them numbers which would have ...

Re: Your favourite Australian Grand Prix

Thinking about why the races in Australia since 2014 have all been pretty dull spectacles. Are the cars now too big for the circuit, or is it the rules of how the cars work? I'm unsure on the second point, because we've raced under three broad regulation sets since 2014, and the races have all been ...

Re: 2024 Australian Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thread

Is Appendix surgery the most frequent single cause of drivers missing races apart from injuries sustained whilst driving? Off the top of my head over the last 30 years I remember Hakkinen, Irvine, Albon and now Sainz missing a race due to the particularly pesky organ. Interestingly their replacemen...

Is Sainz fit to drive? That will be decided thursday, when he has to pass an FIA-test. This is from msn.com: On Thursday at Albert Park, the Spaniard is due for the FIA’s mandatory medical evaluations, which include a crucial driver extraction exercise. This test is quite demanding as it requires t...

Do you remember why and how exactly Lewis found himself in a race winning position at COTA 2022? I am curious. Probably by luck but that wouldn't be a race where I would consider that Mercedes messed up. Would you care to enlighten us as to which specific race(s) you think Lewis would have had an o...

Your favourite Australian Grand Prix

The Australian Grand Prix has been an almost ever present on the F1 calendar for nearly 40 years now. From 1985-1995 the race was held in Adelaide and since 1996, the Albert Park street circuit in Melbourne has been host to the race. As it has often hosted the first race of the season, there will be...

I seem to remember several on here defending Vettel at the time of the Baku incident with Hamilton (which was 2017 btw). Boggles the mind and for the most part he was excellent in 2017.

He only really started his consistent mistakes/crashing in 2018.
