As I said... The outcome has to be a factor unless you want to penalise every loss of control. It's ridiculous that they insist otherwise. I completely agree... that's why Hamilton taking Verstappen out directly causing a 50g 150mph crash should have resulted in much more than a 5s penalty It did.
