Re: The end of Party Mode
I imagine all the engine manufacturers would have done their homework, I don't forsee any additional reliability issues for any of the front runners.... maybe for the B teams if they are being used as guinea pigs.

Can't see anything other than a Mercedes walk up front, hoping Sainz and Perez will be able to keep around Max for a bit of actual racing to occur. Can't wait to see the look on Horner and Marko's faces if Mercedes warnings about the engine modes being banned only helping them more come to pass.

Re: Who will end their career with the most wins?
I thought we were debating Hamilton's impact on the rise of the Mercedes juggernaut. I think a top five all-time ranking is pretty much a given at this point, but how I rate Hamilton has little bearing on my opinion that the rise of Mercedes was inevitable and he played little part in it. While I t...

Perhaps a return to Bridgestone era tyres, coupled with a mandated maximum stint length? The tyre whisperers would still get a bit of an advantage if they can use their softness on the tyres to attack each lap a bit harder and it would avoid the farcical situation of tyres falling to bits the second...

Clown car tyre pressures dictated by Pirelli to make sure their tyres no longer fail live on TV have a lot more to do with Mercedes troubles. I imagine we shall be seeing some pretty interesting mandated tyre pressures going forward in the name of safety that just happens to move the ballpark from M...

McLaren's Zak Brown on Racing Point verdict: "They claimed they had copied the car via photography. It's clear from reading the document that is BS. So you have to question everything else around the car." This isn't over by a long way! It was highly probable Mercedes had just sold/given the design...

Mercedes playing hardball, though I still think they will be here next year. Given they supply engines to 3 other teams next year, thats a hell of a ball to threaten to take home with you.

Re: Salty Renault Protest Racing Points Legality.
This is really interesting. It is the Rear Brake Ducts only that are illegal. They got a full set of CAD drawings last year, but installed and worked on the Fronts last year, so that means they were 'designed' by RP for 2020. RBDs went straight onto the car this year with minimal differences, so ca...

Re: Salty Renault Protest Racing Points Legality.
Renault haven't really won at all here unless those 15 points are the difference between them and RP at the end of the year. Reading that makes it look like the stewards are pointing most of the finger of blame at the FIA and the process of checking the car while it was being developed, something RP...

I don't think its an unreasonable request to produce tyres that degrade to the point of them being utterly unsuitable for any kind of decent race pace long before the actual construction of the tyre is compromised. All 3 cars with front left failure were still lapping at a perfectly good pace right ...

I can see Perez knocking on the RB door given the situation at RP and he would appear to be an upgrade on Albon. You are arguing with a straw-man. At no point did I point the finger at Mercedes for being dominant. I do however blame the FIA for the 2019 rule changes. It was a point aimed at no one in particular. Though in regards to the 2019 rule changes, if its open knowledge that they make the high rake con...

I'm of the opinion that Stroll is pretty much the ultimate form of the 'coached' driver. However, it seems that when it comes to the absolu...
