Re: 2016 Canadian Practice Thread
The new parts and fuel in the Macca seem to be working well so far. Yesterdays long runs in FP2 were quite good. Efficiency on the up and Alonso said the parts are working as expected. Kudos Honda and Mobil. Not looking great in the speed traps and S3 but progress is progress. Yeah they're looking ...

If Red Bull screw up once again then Ricciardo will leave them for sure. Recently, there were rumours from Sergio Perez's father that this weekend Ferrari would announce a deal with Perez. It was stated in a Finnish paper Ilta Sanomat.
Perez getting a great podium in Monaco surely must've made some heads turn. Perez afterall belonged to the Ferrari camp once.

Re: Heineken Sponsorship
As per the author of the article below, apart from being a sponsor for F1, a part of the deal is also to partner a F1 team & that team probably is Force India. Not because it's a struggling midfield team but because Heineken & Mallya owned United Breweries have a relationship that's skin deep. Withi...

Even though there are under 10 hours for FP1 to start, am too excited as Canada always throws great races at us. Typically, seeing a driver clash with a team mate was rare as he's the last one You accidentally want to take out. To the OP, do you mean that the largest winning margin in any GP was at Montreal? As per the information in the below link, the largest margin ever between 1st & 2nd was between Damon Hill & Olivier Panis during the 1995 Australian Grand Prix. The margin was 2 laps!!!! 8O https://en.wikipedia.org/w...

I wonder if a Groundhog (Beaver) will again make its presence felt just like 2007 when Super Aguri driver hit one at top speed. Apart from being one of my favourite races of the year, it has some interesting facts: - Gilles Villeneuve's 1978 triumph was also his maiden victory in F1 & the track was renamed after him in 1982. Since then, five others drivers have had maiden victories in Canada: Thierry Boutsen (1989), Jean Ale...

With 3 back to back races happening in June & July, it's surely going to be hectic for the drivers & teams alike. Perez surely matured as driver while Hulk seems to be stagnating a bit. However Perez does have the problem that it depends where there is an opening . Ferrari passed him over a few times. Re: Daniel Screwed out of Two Wins on the Trot
I'm tempted to say favoritism but these things happen, like Lewis last year. Unfortunately, there aren't many races left where RB can pull off a win, maybe in Singapore and Hungary where engine power is less important. When you're supposed to win, being 2nd is no better than being last. In fact, it...
