Re: 2016 Canadian Practice Thread

The new parts and fuel in the Macca seem to be working well so far. Yesterdays long runs in FP2 were quite good. Efficiency on the up and Alonso said the parts are working as expected. Kudos Honda and Mobil. Not looking great in the speed traps and S3 but progress is progress. Yeah they're looking ...

Recently, there were rumours from Sergio Perez's father that this weekend Ferrari would announce a deal with Perez. It was stated in a Finnish paper Ilta Sanomat.

Perez getting a great podium in Monaco surely must've made some heads turn. Perez afterall belonged to the Ferrari camp once.

As per the author of the article below, apart from being a sponsor for F1, a part of the deal is also to partner a F1 team & that team probably is Force India. Not because it's a struggling midfield team but because Heineken & Mallya owned United Breweries have a relationship that's skin deep. Withi...

Even though there are under 10 hours for FP1 to start, am too excited as Canada always throws great races at us. Apart from being one of my favourite races of the year, it has some interesting facts: - Gilles Villeneuve's 1978 triumph was also his maiden victory in F1 & the track was renamed after him in 1982. I'm tempted to say favoritism but these things happen, like Lewis last year. Unfortunately, there aren't many races left where RB can pull off a win, maybe in Singapore and Hungary where engine power is less important. When you're supposed to win, being 2nd is no better than being last. In fact, it...
