Re: Alternative Points System and Tables - 2012 DONE
Such a points system goes against what i like to see, that being drivers being rewarded for race wins and podium positions, i even think the present points system errs to much towards collecting points on a consistent basis No points system is perfect. But even if you swap it about to the Ultimate ...

Re: Caterham, Marussia and Force India drivers
Actually the last time I remember a substitute driver scoring points was a certain Vettel in USA 2007 and he didn't have any prior race experience at all. Also in qualy he was constantly only a few tenths off his teammate Heidfeld. Has there been any occasion since that? If by a few tenths you mean...

Re: Caterham, Marussia and Force India drivers
Well, at least he's driving, he's gonna be seen on Sunday, that's one step forward. He couldn't have gotten a better seat anyway, given the current pilots distribution. And let's not forget that a certain German entered the sport mid-nineties without bashing every lower formula he's been into, but ...

Re: Why does Force India always take time to decide its Line
Just reporting twitter rumors: someone is saying that BS already signed with FI on january 17th, and worked hard on the simulator in the past week. Bianchi third driver. https://twitter.com/inacioF1 That being true its not exactly an inspiring line up, good chance for di Resta to beat a teammate th...

I feel sorry for Nico. It has always been 'what do you think of Schui.....' Now its going to be 'What do you think Lewis....' The problem against Schumacher was he wasn't given any credit for beating him or even matching him with Schumacher being an old man, he will against Hamilton if he achieves ...

Re: Hamilton already quicker than Rosberg?…
Did you have to turn another thread into Button vs Hamilton Johnston? We've heard enough. As for Hamilton vs Rosberg, I think 2013 could finish Nico's career if he doesn't watch out. Apologies, as I did get carried away a bit too... On the other hand, what becomes of Lewis if Nico does a Button or ...

Re: Hamilton already quicker than Rosberg?…
You're arguing about Hamilton being superior to Button last season so these tyre issues that Button had and were the fault of McLaren's must have affected him for most of the season No I am arguing that the Last year perfectly exemplified the comparison. Re: Hamilton already quicker than Rosberg?…
Ok i agree he was over the top somewhat, for me there's no excuses really for Hamilton's 2011 season, thats's why equally i won't excuse Button's 2012 season, i feel the difference here is that people aren't looking to blame McLaren for Hamilton's 2011 season when he was beat by Button but moreso a...

Re: Caterham, Marussia and Force India drivers
Caterham hiring GVDG has made me lose all respect for them. Petrov was the obvious choice having driven for them for a year and showed up Heikki, as well as earning them their 10th place in the last race of 2012. While he doesn't seem to come with as much sponsorship as he used to, I think he still...

Not sure but hulk is dekra is it who is now with sauber di resta has whyte & mackay. Re: Why does Force India always take time to decide its Line
Well it doesn't look like money is a factor because F1 India were looking to run 2 sponsorless drivers this year, di Resta and the Hulk, Bianchi then coming on board in 2014 along with the Ferrari engines it would seem. Short term they could run either Sutil or Senna who have sponsorship or bring Bi...

Re: Susie wolff will shakedown the FW35 !!!
One must wonder how many of the criticisms of Wolff found here are based off of numbers on her Wikipedia page. As opposed to people saying she is better than Deletraz, Rossett or Ide based on absolutely nothing? We've seen what Deletraz, Rossett and Ide could do in Formula One. Why not wait and see...

Re: Driver weight and its effect
The extra ballast for the lighter drivers should be applied to the seat and not evenly distributed throughout the car. Just throwing it out there. Maybe but no other spot goes to any effort to be size neutral. In basketball for example there are no rules to help the little guys. horse racing That d...

I can't help but agree with this.. You can say she was with a lower Merc team in DTM but the fact is that her teammates were scoring points/podiums while she could barely break the top 10 Except they didn't look at the 2012 results for starters. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_DTM_season Her team...

Just because she doesn't have a pair of actual *Definitely True* doesn't mean she's any worse than any other pay driver we have ever seen. No, of course not. Almost like she knows someone at the top of the company. Wolff wasn't involved. He wasn't at the table when the board discussed it. Imo, though an attempt at fairness, you probably still want to appease Wolff regardless of his presence in the actual discussion or not. I do not believe she'd have go...

Kobayashi won GP2 Asia Webber was F3000 runner up. Raikkonen Blitzed FR2000 winning 7/10 races. Wolff hasn't won anything and hasn't been close to being competitive in any series since finishing 5th in FRUK nearly a decade ago. Kobayashi was rubbish in GP2 proper though.
