Re: What Can Be Done for 2016?
The FIA will have to step in here, won't they? Why, what have Mercedes done wrong ? Are they to be punished for being successful ? As long as they let their drivers race freely there will still be something entertaining for viewers to watch. The Shumacher-Barrichello processions were when manufactu...

Re: F1 Website
I am looking for pictures taken throughout the weekend... Still haven't found them :? After seeing the new website, maybe John Sutton even quit. So no more photos. The new website's layout is so horrendous that I'll now prefer going to other websites for information. It looks like MotoGP have gone ...

Re: Which is the Strongest Driver Line-up for 2015?
Well I would say there is perhaps not much too choose between all 4 drivers at this stage, it's going to be interesting to see how it all pans out, to see who might come out on top. It is totally unknown for us to REALLY know Williams pace vs. Ferrari pace. All 4 drivers were brought to same group ...

Re: Which is the Strongest Driver Line-up for 2015?
The thread is about driver pairings. We know that Rosberg is if anything faster than Lewis over a single lap, yet today he gave away six tenths. This suggests that he's seriously dragged the pairing down. Kvyat didn't even manage to get into Q3, so the RBR pairing is also compromised there. I'd cut...

So basically live timing is no longer free anywhere? Use this website. Anyone else that wants free live timing with sector times and driver tracker use this link . Re: Which is the Strongest Driver Line-up for 2015?
I don't understand this point. Both were quicker than Bottas? What do you mean? I agree that on the basis of one qualifying it's not possible to say whether both drivers managed to extract the maximum from the car. On the contrary, both admitted to making mistakes and that they could have had P3. I...

Re: Which is the Strongest Driver Line-up for 2015?
I know you would, as you take almost any opportunity to slate them both. But what evidence is there that they under-performed more than any other pairing? I repeat: Kimi left 3 tenths on the table. Vettel screwed up his final run. AFAIK Hamilton/Massa/Ricciardo didn't screw up their final run or le...

Re: Which is the Strongest Driver Line-up for 2015?
Based on what exactly? They qualified very close to each other but that could easily mean they both failed to get the maximum out of the car. Also it could be said that neither were quicker than either Bottas or Massa in cars that look to be quite even, we already know that Massa is much the equal ...

Re: Which is the Strongest Driver Line-up for 2015?
Yeah currently it's Vettel and Raikkonen comfortably. If Alonso does come back at 100% and doesn't get frustrated with the car and keeps his motivation up, then I would vote Fernando and Jenson, but they're all big ifs. Based on what exactly? They qualified very close to each other but that could e...

Agreed. Very good and NEEDED analyze. People were complaining about Redbull and Neweymobiles. Most of the complainers are now silent when some other team is dominating colossally since January 2014? I bet they won't lap the field on purpose tomorrow. And those who were silent back then are suddenly...

Re: Australian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
It's not looking good for Alonso short term but it's a longer term plan I think Lewis should move to Honda to make them a winner like Mercedes. Whatever he brings for the teams he drives for (i don't know), that thing is needed for Honda too. #look at McLaren before and after him (2006 and 2013) #l...

Only a tiny little point i disagree dude; Redbull car never enjoyed this type of a colossal advantage full season. Re: Australian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
I said thus far, Kimi actually made a mistake on his lap which cost him 3 tenths And Vettel had the wrong strategy. And this doesn't in any way invalidate my previous post. Re: Australian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
Well done Lewis! Mercedes will win both titles :( Ferrari made big step forward. Red Bull moved backwards. McLaren occupies the territory previously reserved for teams like Marussia or HRT, but I predict McLaren will improve very soon. I think it is too early to say Ferrari improved, last year Alon...

Re: Australian Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
The gap between Mercedes and massively improved Ferrari is about the gap between 1st and 20th back in 2008 when the entire field was regularly within 2 seconds. Re: Rosberg's ability (or lack of) on Race Day
I've always wondered how big effect it has had on Nico's race pace that he always seems to be worse with conserving fuel. Could it be his driving style simply uses up more fuel and with the current restrictions it hampers his race more than Lewis? In quali of course fuel consumption does not matter...
