What was ric’s issue?
I’m guessing the batts weren’t providing power anywhere near 100% capacity/load and were constantly trying to recharge? Batt management system error, or similar?

What do we think the chances are of it being ready for qualifying? Similar to him being there next year(or the finish of this year...)
Edit- wow, that’s maggotted! Lol at the comm guys. “Might not make qauli” hmm, I think it might not do well for tomorrow.

Kubica was the fastest williams driver on Friday. That in itself should be embarrassing for Williams. He was the slower driver in testing, after all.

Max is certainly on top in quali now. Something I think will stay the same- overall. Beyond that, can't say. F1 is 300km per race. Until a driver actually completes that distance, the rest of the race doesn't really mean anything.
Edit-honda engined cars excepted.

Mikey, since we're just spewing assumptions in this thread, what if max is ignoring directions of 'ensure no longitudinal wheel slip in the first 6 laps' or 'don't reach lat/lon g-force of 4.9 before the fuel load is under 70%' or 'don't upchange beyond 10750rpm' or 'don't upchange while experiencin...

If a driver isn't trying (cruising) how can they be 'driver' of the race? Perhaps there should be a 'in the dominant car and he happens to be good/my favourite' category.

All Motorsport authorities are like this. It's entertainment first, sport second. Re: Red Bull not allowed to fix Verstappen's clutch at Singa
I think the story red bull are giving is slightly coloured to suit their own agenda. We know teams can change a tyre just having a flat spot, so a clutch that shows actual signs of damage would be allowed(I believe). Surely rbr just found that something wasn't optimal for the Singapore launch and wa...

If the tyre isn't an immediate chance of deflating, tough luck. It's a joke that it can be changed from a flat spot. If these changes are allowed, then they should be forced to change them if there's a flat spot created during the race, too! The current rule is absurd. Go nuts on a tyre, flat spot i...
