That’s not true either, if Hamilton had maintained 2nd in China and the Brazil result was the same then Hamilton would have won the title by 7 points or 9 points if Ferrari didn’t switch. As long as Vettel gets past Bottas, he will still be P2, so no loss. Better than running out of tyres and going off the cliff, if Vettel felt that. Actually, Vettel loses points to Hamilton if he comes in P2. Which would have happened if he hadn't pitted anyway. Think it was worth the gamble to try...
