Re: Christian Horner Allegations Thread
Yes, that is possible but still puzzling. Marko does not have many years to go and he is hardly going to run the team, is he now? I personally never bought into the Horner/Marko power struggle story. Horner may want Marko out of the way in teams of young driver scouting and the like, but that hardl...

A driver who is not having to adapt to anything has an advantage over a driver who is adapting. Again, its not me you're arguing with - its the data we have over numerous team mate comparisons including Hamilton himself when he joined Merc in the first place I think it is a load of nonsense persona...

As much as I disagree with you KV, god damn it man I admire your commitment to your cause. You know, my favourite driver growing up was actually Michael Schumacher. Well, in this case I take the word of those with authority above that of yours. Which I think is not at all an unfair position to take. goto 10. The appeal to authority fallacy is the logical fallacy of saying a claim is true simply because an authority figure made it. I think more than enough for ...

Glad you don't accuse me of making up a rule out of thin air! The stewards may or may not be involved in writing the regulations, but they are the only ones allowed to interpret them during a race weekend. Mercedes could have challenged, but chose not to. But as previously mentioned. Mercedes Only ...

My hunch would be a 3+2, which would be after the first year of the new rules, see where the car stands and then decide what he wants to do, stay or leave.

I would like F1 to return to the idea that the driver drives the car alone and unaided. That, to me, would mean banning pit-to-car radio and datalinks. It is no coincidence that 2 of the longest winning streaks came from 2 Red Bull drivers (Vettel and now Verstappen). Verstappen wasn't afraid of having an accident, what was on his mind was that he couldn't allow himself to miss the restart, I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. Siao7 brought up article 39.7 which says cars have to be in line behind the SC, but that is only until the unlapping has f...

I recall Schumacher having an accident behind the SC in the Monaco tunnel. While the distance was probably still a maximum of 5 car lengths in between cars, that was lengthened to a maximum of 10. Which only increases the difficulty for somebody not wanting to be caught out at a restart. And that w...

The "Verstappen overtook under the SC" narrative is as much as red (dead, dead red?) herring as the "Hamilton should have defended harder" narrative. Before Verstappen started doing it drivers used to overlap (And I'm sure sometimes nudge ahead) under the SC all the time and nobody cared. Verstappe...
