It is absolutely obvious that those stupid tires have become the deciding factor of success. What has that to do with racing, if keeping the tires alive is more important than the drivers speed? In Bharain from fourth place on they came in like ducks in a row because the fast drivers could not pull...

Reading this thread you would think the drivers are pootling around at 130mph or something... all this talk of 60-70% is cobblers. They are still doing nye on 200 on the straights, so they maybe slightly slower in the corners, well you could say the wings made the cars artificially fast in the corne...

So, regarding the 'hanging out to dry' thing... how do you square that with the corners where the drivers routinely leave the track, despite it being technically illegal to do so. I'm thinking of the twisty section in Australia here (there are others I'm sure, Magny-Cours used to be a really obvious...
