What Lewis did made complete sense to me. What if Vettel could have extended his stint on the faster tyre? Lewis had to manage the gap making certain he could counter any risk of Vettels tyres lasting longer. Nico's inability to challenge a Lewis Hamilton who is holding a bit back is the real issue.

I am sure it must be pleasing to win this award, considering it is voted for by the public. It always feels to me that British F1 drivers fair well in the personality awards (especially ones that win a championship).
