Re: Carlos Sainz Jr. being blasted by karting rival
I have no knowledge of who this chap is, but if he handles all his matters in this way, you can perhaps understand why any team or sponsor may not be quite so keen to throw money or opportunity his way. I dont get this. He probably is the sort of guy that speaks his mind and he is not a PR-corporat...

I don't agree with Seb being labelled the "worst". I am not a fan of his, but I think there were other drivers who struggled more against their team-mates than him (Kimi and Kevin being two that spring to mind).

I feel very uncomfortable with this report being made public. The one person who knows the details of what happened cannot put his point of view across or defend the allegations of "not slowing enough". There was no need for the FIA to make this report public and should have only been circled withi...

I'm comparing it to say professional basketball, golf, soccer, american football, baseball just to name a few... A season to forget for Vettel. If I were him I would perhaps try avoid answering questions on the subject, because the truth is the car was capable of winning races - it just seemed to only be true if his team-mate was behind the wheel, for whatever reason.

I do hope he is afforded one more season in F1 with Mclaren. I think his performance this season warrants a renewal. If I were Mclaren, I would take Abu Dhabi as a "warning sign" for 2015 - they should ask themselves a simple question. "If we find ourselves in a similar position next year, would we ...

Re: Where is a championship really won or lost?
In this situation, with two fairly matched drivers, in similar machinery, I can think of four things over the course of the season that perhaps decide the result. Experience, consistency, reliability, and talent. I think both have a good measure of all those, with perhaps Nico being a tad more consi...

Re: what's your strategy if you were Rosberg?
He needs to enter the first corner of the race in the lead and then stay there. I think if he tries anything else (such as trying to back Lewis up into the pack) he will probably just end up behind Lewis. I assume both drivers will be locked into the same strategy, as before - so getting pole is als...

I think the writing is on the wall for Jenson, which is a shame. I also think that, were it not for Alonso, Mclaren would have probably kept with Jenson and Magnussen for 2015. It wasn't that long ago Bernie was going on about "medals" for race wins, and handing the championship to the person with the most race wins in a season. What an absurd turn around. If the championship is decided by double points in this last race, formula one IMHO takes a few further steps down the...

I think if Hamilton does manage to win the title this year, he'd be tempted by a straight swap with Alonso. He's a good development driver and with Ferrari generally backing one driver over the years, he'd probably thrive there. Surely Alonso would consider such a move too. Is Hamilton a good devel...
