Re: The Official Bahrain Thread - On/Off?
Was in the paddock in Australia, a mate who works for FOM told me there that we'd only have 19 races this season. 'Bahrain or USA?' I asked, his response was 'USA will happen, Bahrain won't, no-one here will be going to Bahrain'. It's been known for ages, it's just posturing at the moment, mainly do...

Re: POLL: Cancel Bahrain race or not ?
I was in the paddock in Australia through a mate who works for FOM, we were talking about this season and he said there is 20 races 'well, 19 really' and I said 'Bahrain or USA?' and he said 'USA will happen, Bahrain won't. Guarantee it, not one person in this paddock thinks Bahrain is going ahead'.

Hasn't Alonso said this about himself in the past?Fiki wrote:The most fascinating point in the article to my mind is that he doesn't consider Alonso the fastest man in F1. Pity the reporter didn't try to dig a little deeper.

Stupid thread. Why would people believe you're good until you prove it. He was unproven before so people didn't believe in him. He has proved it now so people acknowledge it. @OP You do realize that its emotional people like you who say the things you have listed ? Just the other end of the stick t...

JB will never...
Sorry, another Jenson thread. Things said about him: He'll never get a podium He'll never win a race He'll never win a title He won't win a race for McLaren He'll never win in a dry race He'll never beat Hamilton Maybe time to acknowledge that he is an elite driver, he's done everything asked of him...

Re: Massa- career almost done?
Ok... for all unreasonable Massa bashers... - Massa has won races with Schumacher in the other car - Massa won races with Kimi in the other car - Massa was a runner-up in '08 to Hamilton, and if not for bad luck, would've been champion True, he isn't performing today, but to say that he never did, ...

Massa- career almost done?
I was at the race today, great entertainment and pleased to see a JB win. The thing that really surprised me is how far off the pace Massa was today. Alonso did a great job to get it home in fifth after holding Maldonado off but Massa seemed dreadful. I was sat by turn 10 and every lap Massa seemed ...

Re: DUN DUN DUUUN AUSSIE GP NEWS
I'm in Melbourne now (come over for the race - commitment!) and it's been glorious weather for the past few days although there is plenty of talk that the weekend won't be so nice. Personally I'm hoping for 25 degrees all day with a 30 minute shower at about 5:30!

Re: Attending a GP
I'm going to Australia and Hungary this season after Spa last year. Australia has had either Jenson or Lewis winning it in 2008, 2009, 2010, Hungary has had one of them as victor in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011. Spa had heard our national anthem played in 2008 and 2010. I'm trying to get to races where a ...

At Spa you could take a chair in with you. Going to Melbourne in a few days, will let you know after that too.

Re: Pundits agree Ferrari struggling in 2012
Massa is a very different driver now to before his accident imo.
Some of his 2008 drives were magnificent. Go back and watch him in Turkey, Brazil and Hungary. Absolutely fautless.
