Re: If you were to pick 1 moment in F1's history of onboard

Would love to see some onboard shots of the first attempt at Spa '98 without the spray bluring the view. I've found this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykKLi3u8SSI At 0:20 you see Ralf Schumacher's front wing appear on the left (from Irvine's car). Ralf somehow escaped the carnage without a den...

I hate the triangular bit just after the hair pin. It's everything I dislike about Tilke circuits, awkward and angular it doesn't seem to flow. The apex just sticks out into the track like a thorne in your leg.

No I just don't see the point in him sticking around when there are exciting drivers like PDR, Perez and KK all deserving a drive in a decent car. Schumacher has had his day, won many races and many Championships. There is nothing he can do which will improve his legacy, even if he wins another hand...

Re: What went wrong for Rosberg this weekend?

The Merc was hopeless in the dry. If it weren't for the incidents with both Saubers and Pastor, they'd have had 2 perfectly healthy cars outside the points in an otherwise dry and uneventful race. You could say the same about Mclaren really, nowhere near the top 3 teams this weekend and probably beh...

Re: "Sauber ‘has no future’ with current drivers" - Roger Be

I wouldn't call 2 errors from KK "too many mistakes." Certainly nothing worth dropping him for. The Massa incident wasn't ramming at all, he tried to overtake after the SC, didn't have enough grip and pumped into the side of him. Clumsy, but not deliberate or wreckless. He wouldn't even have been th...

Re: Williams - why is it always going wrong...

Heidfeld has been fairly unspectacular for best part of a decade in F1. Yes a decent steady driver, but he wouldn't really be an exciting driver to push the team up the grid. Sutil I think deserves another chance. Rubens is well past his best would just be a rather for-lorn shaddow of his former sel...

Re: Maldocrap has done it again

I do think Pastor should have been heavier punished for his earlier misdemeanours, but I think today was more of a genuine mistake. He tried to push Perez to the outside, but he just lost rear end grip and slid wide into him.

Haven't seen the replays so it's hard to say.

Alonso is going to be visitng the stewards I fear. I will like to see his sector time during the yellow compared to the previous laps. AFAIK 6 ms is the difference. If it was 6 ms, I suspect he'll take a grid drop. But he was 6ms slower when he should have been maybe half a second faster in that se...

Spa 2008. Hamilton eventually got the pen for cutting the chicane.
