Re: Will Bottas Bounce Back in 2019??

I feel for Bottas a bit. He is a good racer but has come up against a great racer. It was funny reading on here before Bottas joined Mercedes (I have been a long time lurker) people thought Lewis was scared of Bottas joining the team as Lewis didn't want to share car data with him. Do people still t...

Perez for me. He is a serial podium finisher if he gets a sniff at it and the only Formula 1.5 driver to finish on the podium this season.

I think he is better than he gets the credit for.

Re: 2018: How do you rate the season?

Way to easy for Merc this time around again, a 2 from me. No matter what the top teams do, they will drive to top positions without any hazzle, some even get waved through. Merc have now won >75% off the races during this hybrid era and it doesn't look like it will end anyway soon. Hyperbolic much?...

Re: How many Grand Prix have you watched?

First race I probably viewed on TV was late 90's early 00s. I wasn't fully sucked into the sport until I went to my first race at Silverstone. I can still feel the shaking the V10 Williams gave me. Became a JPM fan that day. I rarely miss a race and I think from about 2005/6 I have missed maybe 10 r...

It's a 4 for me. It could well have been a 5 if Ferrari/Vettel didn't drop the ball.

The first half of the season was fantastic and it was all so close, i really thought Vettel was going to take it this year. The points do not show the whole picture.

Apparently both Mercs have a problem with a water pump. It's only harsh for Seb as he was/is in the title hunt... But he shouldn't be making those mistakes. Hamilton's reaction was quite telling, he looked bemused https://streamable.com/z8fi9 He looked knackered! Ha, on second viewing he does look tired. Ferrari storm to victory incoming? Go on Kimi!

I wouldn't say it is that unlikely. Only bad luck/brain farts has caused Vettel to not win all of the 4 previous races. Actually I'm coming round to agreeing. It's still in Sebs hands, just. If he drives at his best for the last 7 races he probably will be champion. And that is exactly what I think...

There was an article, on my favorite news site Daily Mail, showing how Vettel had lost over 125 points to Hamilton over the last 2 years. For me, I support Hamilton as he is a British driver. But to be honest, I don't have a driver I dislike so when he leaves, assuming we don't have another Brit I'll probably follow whoever I find exciting.
