Re: Will Bottas Bounce Back in 2019??
I feel for Bottas a bit. He is a good racer but has come up against a great racer. It was funny reading on here before Bottas joined Mercedes (I have been a long time lurker) people thought Lewis was scared of Bottas joining the team as Lewis didn't want to share car data with him. Do people still t...

I have to agree with Lewis. Something about 2 wheels is so much more fun than 4. I only have a boring road car but my R6 never fails to put a grin on my face. Perez for me. He is a serial podium finisher if he gets a sniff at it and the only Formula 1.5 driver to finish on the podium this season.
I think he is better than he gets the credit for.

Re: 2018: How do you rate the season?
Way to easy for Merc this time around again, a 2 from me. No matter what the top teams do, they will drive to top positions without any hazzle, some even get waved through. Merc have now won >75% off the races during this hybrid era and it doesn't look like it will end anyway soon. Hyperbolic much?...

Re: How many Grand Prix have you watched?
First race I probably viewed on TV was late 90's early 00s. I wasn't fully sucked into the sport until I went to my first race at Silverstone. I can still feel the shaking the V10 Williams gave me. Became a JPM fan that day. I rarely miss a race and I think from about 2005/6 I have missed maybe 10 r...

Re: 2018: How do you rate the season?
It's a 4 for me. It could well have been a 5 if Ferrari/Vettel didn't drop the ball.
The first half of the season was fantastic and it was all so close, i really thought Vettel was going to take it this year. The points do not show the whole picture.

Great race. A solid 9/10 for me. Not the result I wanted initially as I wanted Lewis to wrap it up but Kimi did a great job from the first lap and it seems Ferrari nailed the strategy so there are no complaints from me. Apparently both Mercs have a problem with a water pump. At least in the Finnish broadcast they were showing that Valtteri's car was already fixed but they're still working on Lewis' car and it's unsure if the car will be ready on the grid. I haven't yet heard any tweets or anything about it though....

It's only harsh for Seb as he was/is in the title hunt... But he shouldn't be making those mistakes. Hamilton's reaction was quite telling, he looked bemused https://streamable.com/z8fi9 He looked knackered! Ha, on second viewing he does look tired. Ferrari storm to victory incoming? Go on Kimi!

I've gone for Vettel win but it will be close.
Sebastian has been off form for the last few races, sadly it happened last year as well, but I like to give him the benefit of the doubt and not pretend that the man can't race.

I wouldn't say it is that unlikely. Only bad luck/brain farts has caused Vettel to not win all of the 4 previous races. Actually I'm coming round to agreeing. It's still in Sebs hands, just. If he drives at his best for the last 7 races he probably will be champion. And that is exactly what I think...

There was an article, on my favorite news site Daily Mail, showing how Vettel had lost over 125 points to Hamilton over the last 2 years. The points swing from this year alone is at 80 points lost through his errors. Lewis only has a 30 point lead and with some tracks that Ferrari will be stronger ...

For me, I support Hamilton as he is a British driver. But to be honest, I don't have a driver I dislike so when he leaves, assuming we don't have another Brit I'll probably follow whoever I find exciting. I own a DR 'Shoey' t-shirt so maybe I'll support him... Or at least just cheer when he does well.
