Re: Iran and F1's increasingly political role in the world
What kind of people have the crazy idea in holding a major sports event in a country that has a history to fund militant groups, harboring criminals wanted by the USA, and having a fraudulent cleric (The Iran's version of "THE FURHER") making decisions for the people? I WOULD NOT GO THERE!!!!!! I A...

The likelihood is the livery will be exactly the same save for the chrome being a grey/silver instead. It's nothing too drastic according to Adam Cooper.Lt. Drebin wrote:Current one is one of the worst and bland they ever had. Whatever they change it will be better.

Vettel could have had the same record. Nope. No way he was going to win anything in that 2007 STRF or his first and only race in the Beemer. The only "stat" up for grabs for those who started off in backmarkers is winning in a car that doesn't finish in the top 5 of the WCC - so Vettel and others h...

Taking the wins single-handedly for your team at a given season is a massive accomplishment for the winning driver. I still remember the smiles of Olivier Panis (Monaco 96) and Montoya (Brazil 2004 podium). Yep, the win that Schumi got for Ferrari in '05 was HUGE! ;) Yep, Bridgestone is not to blam...

I never liked Senna when watching him in the same way I didn't like MS after various incidents made it clear he was no sportsman. Irvine would have won the WDC in 1999 - granted with MS out - but with just one awful pitstop (where they only brought out 3 tyres and had to wait a lifetime for the 4th tyre to arrive) - and would have won regardless if Ferrari hadn't required EI to move aside for one race earlier in the season co...

I don't get where Ron is going with that because Ferrari have won 8 WCC in the last 16 years. McLaren have won 0. In fact McLaren have only won a single WCC since 1991, just one in 24 years.
