Re: Team Radio Ban - Are We Missing the Point?
If you want to watch a race with no communication, go watch amateur carting or something. It's a team sport, the team should be allowed to inform the driver about the car, at least to some extent. I want the driver to figure out how to handle the problem, but I don't mind the team informing the driv...

Well, there never was a 100L/hr fuel flow limit... but the 100kg/hr fuel flow limit is still there and being enforced (volume is temperature dependent). In fact there was some talk about some teams bending the intentions of the rule last year IIRC, something about having flexible tubing or something...

First half of the race was okay, second half really boring. Kinda agree. I think the long straight combined with the DRS down the back straight was too much. Gut reaction is that this track doesn't need DRS, but I guess they have to have it for some reason. So perhaps introduce a second detection p...

I think that was down to not getting enough heat into the tyres so maybe that happened again. Well, technically you're wrong, and its easy to get confused with this. But Alonso himself explained it very well. This makes no sense because 10 days ago he claimed that the power was not enough so they had to save fuel, and that meant around 40 seconds loss over the entire Russian GP just by saving fuel. Sure it does. The engine might very well have a lot of power, they just can't utilize it during a race / q...

And you're wrong about that bit in bold. When you have a significant HP disadvantage it is felt most greatly under hard acceleration before the aero effects kick in. If Rosberg doesn't mess up under pressure, like he's done earlier, and ignoring any DNFs (on either side), it's Rosbergs to lose. Of course with all the races left, a lot can happen. The thread title puts words in Lewis' mouth and is utterly incorrect.
The correct quote is "There can only be one No 1."
Given the context, he's clearly talking about there can only be one winner.

Wouldn't it be better to let teams decide after FP1 or FP2. I like the idea of more options, but now there is no way for a team to prepare and know what option to choose beforehand.
