Re: Hamilton 10th most successful driver of all time now

I'm hoping we see Hamilton and Alonso competing against each other for their 3rd title next year. With Button, Rosberg, Ricciardo and Bottas mixed in as well.

Re: How does Lewis approach tomorrow's race?

I think he'll approach it simply. If his chariot blows up, it blows up. Lewis curses the racing gods and moves on. He'll then follow Rosberg and build a gap to the Williams and Red Bulls. Hamilton maintains a 1-2 second gap and stalks Rosberg waiting for him to make a mistake while leading. If he t...

Just watched the Murray Walker programme. No matter how many times I watch things like this, I still feel like the results will be different. Someone who's not a greedy little dwarf, that's what F1 needs. Ecclestone is a big problem but the teams still have a lot of influence over things and are partly to blame for a lot of the problems. The trouble is, F1 is still a business and the teams are in there to make money. So when you have the...

We're probably in for a very boring race. I'll just be glad when it's over so we hopefully don't again have to go through the idea of one race being worth more points than any other. The championship would still have been going to the wire without it this year and a Hamilton car failure would still ...

The third car business, my original idea, which is what I stick to, is the manufacturer can do a deal with a team. Seems a bit strange saying this after yesterday, but they continued to race under yellow (not double yellow from what I can see) flags with a car very near to the circuit, marshals standing near it and then a crane at the side of the track. I don't think that would be allowed to happen today.

I don't believe there is sabotage but Mercedes clearly have a reliability issue . It's something they can and should improve. It's not simply bad luck. It's not like Rosberg's car has been bulletproof either. They haven't had a good record with reliability over the past few seasons.
