Re: Is Hamilton sandbagging?
Wich makes teams fall behind in the development race. Bringing parts that don't work is what makes teams fall behind in the development race. Maybe they work but some fussy driver is not comfortable with it Well as seen as this started with the EBD . If you remember the driver that was happy with i...

Not really in 2008 Red Bull were bad and in 2009 they had the best/2nd best car, Ferrari also made their way to the front after being disappointing, his plan is to join in 2013 and intergrate with the team for the 2014 rule changes, obviously Merc had something in their portfolio that looked promis...

This is from the Hamilton sandbagging thread but I didn't want to be accused of derailing it so I've took Schuis post and quoted ithere to makea bit more sense with the train of thought. I just think that's how Pirelli make their tyres, I had a set and they did 1800 miles before they were gone. Had my new tyres now, on 9000 miles and they look fine still. The other teams and the FIA did have input into it. do you really think the teams would accept a control part such as an ECU they had no input into? Just because it's designed under the McLaren umbrella doesn't mean the F1 team had enough to do with it to give an advantage. The McLaren Umbrella is a...

First of all, the content of the OP and the title of the thread is very misleading. Second, I'm all for fragile tyres that degrade. I just don't want a narrow working range in the tyres that suddenly fall off the cliff. That's just a lottery then. But it's not a Lottery. The team and driver that co...

F1 being the top is only if you think F1 is the top. Personally I reckon Grp B was THE definitive top
I can only speak from what I read and here from this side of the pond but I have never gotten the impression that F1 is seen as the top from your side.
