Re: Inconsistent Penalties this year.
Why would Schumacher lose his statistics? Fiki has been adamant that Schumacher's stats shouldn't count for 1997 since I've been on this forum, and quite likely since as early as 1998. It doesn't make any sense. He cheated in the final race, but that doesn't provide any rationale for removing his s...

Hamilton will probably win. Excited to see what Racing Point can do. For now they are doing today the times Mercedes was doing last year... So the Racing Point 2020 is doing the same times as Mercedes 2019....interesting. I wonder if its the same car that has been copied or the same concept? Subtle...

Where are the usual stroll critics? Not bad for a 21 yr old up against a much more experienced teammate. 2 races in a row. Should be interesting race between the two of them tomorrow. Really liked Russell standing up for Albon in his interview with Sky, does make me wonder what Alex is telling people behind the scenes though. Red Bull look in a whole world of trouble this weekend though, Max reporting balance changes from lap to lap; something is very wrong with that car. Better ...

I had Russell nailed on for best qualifying of the day, but bloody hell Lewis! Different class, for someone as amazing in the wet as Max to end up going off trying to match him (and still getting nowhere near it).... amazing. Another bad day for Ferrari, and I can't see them getting lucky 2 weekends...

Re: He's back.. BBC reporting Alonso has signed for Renault
I really, really, really don't get it from Alonso's perspective. He quit the first time round because he didn't want to roll around in midfield.... and he's coming back to join a team that is behind the team he left in the midfield pecking order. I guess this means Vettel's race is run in F1, unless...

I feel like the punishment was dished out because of what happened to Albon rather than the actual incident itself... I don't think Lewis did much wrong and Albon was a bit too hasty to make the move stick. The race was his to lose at that point, another hard lesson learned perhaps.

Norris, Leclerc and Bottas, and in that order too. Norris driver of the weekend too for me. Just for a little bit of fun, lets make a few bold (or not) predictions for the season ahead with only a single qualifying session to base it on. 1. This is Russel's last year in the Williams. Wether or not that means promotion to the big team, unsure, but he is already being wasted at the back of t...

As for the second drivers, Bottas was quicker than Albon in the race and ahead until his engine expired. I'm of the opinion that the second Verstappen actually becomes a genuine WDC rival that Lewis will very quickly stop leaving Max to pass him fairly unopposed. Hamilton was no less dirty than Rosberg. The difference between them was innate ability and racecraft. Hamilton knew how to be dirty without overstepping the mark too much and costing his team serious points (Austin 2015). Rosberg did not have the same level of racecraft and hence, when Rosberg tri...
