It was once it was essentially dry that Ricciardo was quicker but Hamiltonw as on wet tyres on a dry track and Ricciardo on inters. Hamilton also would have won if not for a shocking out ...

Re: When, and to where, will Ricciardo move? [A: 2019, Renau

Red Bull are doing what they usually do - handle drivers poorly. They had a falling out with Webber because they committed everything to Vettel when he came along. They lost Vettel because they committed just about everything to Ricciardo when he came along. Now they've lost Ricciardo because they'v...

It'd be great for him to to Ferrari and defeat Vettel though. The drama..

Re: Sainz Jr's McLaren teammate 2019

I am really hoping that Vandoorne is out. Alonso is good, but come on. By now there should have been some hint that Vandoorne is capable of at least matching his teammate. Every dog has its day but Vandoorne doesn't look like he's even had half an hour where he might outshine Alonso. And as well as...

Unlikely, I admit, but what about Gasly? Renault might like a French driver in one of their teams.

Not sure Red Bull would let him slip away that easily though.

It was the same situation for Vettel & Webber. Different slightly there in that Ricciardo is arguably as good or better than Verstappen, whereas the same couldn't be same about Webber and Vettel. I think we might have a different opinion on whom might be the better driver, in terms of speed then it...

Re: McLaren drivers 2019

I've been a little disappointed with Vandoorne to be honest. Alonso is a great driver but I'd have liked for him to have beaten him more often. He's very much in Fernando's shadow at a point in time where he should be starting to chip back at the old man. I reckon he'll get another year though. I'd ...

Alonso to Red Bull would make an exciting line-up. The old stallion in his twilight taking on the young buck. I agree it wasn't a terrible squeeze. But the effect of it was to force Vettel to take a really tight line and lose places. The significant point is that they discussed the start before the race and agreed a course of action, which Webber then ignored. He was supposed to stay out of Vettel's way be...

Looks good for Red Bull on the basis of Hungary results, where Toro Rosso outclassed Renault. Pretty simple question. Is it nationalist pride, or for their fiesty or calculated nature on track or in the garage? Perhaps a bit of both. What makes your preferred team and/or driver?
