Re: Halo credited for saving life in F2 race

So the question I ask is this. Hypothetically, lets say Makino's car survived the impact with nothing more than a damaged Halo & a few scratches to the body work and was able to carry on racing as normal. Would Makino have been shown the black & orange flag, been forced to come into the pits and ret...

Re: F1 needs faster safety cars!

Isn't that just a virtual safety car? not if only the lead car drives to a delta. It effectively becomes the SC. The rest will catch up to him as per normal SC conditions and then follow behind. Point is the delta could be a little quicker than the current SC manages. SC Driver can be trusted to ru...

Agree with all of the aove. Cataluyna's a dump for producing exciting racing. Motorland Aragón Jerez Not sure if they are grade 1 though. Surely either track would be better then Catalunya. They're both grade 1 tracks but I'm not convinced Jerez would be an improvement. Aragon could be ok. If rumour...

For me the biggest issue on sunday was the low loader on the track whilst the cars will still going round. So with a lot of talk revolving around Ricciardo's contract, or at the moment lack of, for next year, and a lot of it finding it's way into a few threads, I thought I start a thread and a poll dedicated to the topic. So, where will Ric be in 2019? My opinion ? As the cards lie at the moment? I can s...

I can suggest a couple of races in the middle east plus one or two more that I'd prefer to see gone before they look at Baku. There's only two races in the Middle East, and one of them is almost always good. Cut Abu Dhabi if you want, but you'd have a hard time replacing Bahrain with an equally goo...

Maybe a bit tin foil hat but I wonder how close Verstappen is to a race ban and was Ricciardo instructed to take some of the heat, or maybe he did it of his own volition, in order to mitigate the risk of Verstappen copping that ban. I couldn't help but wonder about that myself. If so, it tells Ricc...

What if the team mates are the main, or the only for that matter, contenders for the WDC?

Think Hamilton / Rosberg, Prost / Senna, Mansell / Piquet. Can you imagine any of those 6 saying "After you my good man",when approaching a corner side by side with the championship on the line?

Whilst I dont think you can hold Baku up as a race that they get a bit frivelous with the use of safety cars, I certainly wonder if it's going to be a temptation on some of the more.... sedate tracks, to throw VSC/SC for an incident that might not completely need it just to spice it up a bit.
