Thanks for sharing Unlikeday,
With the effort I am actually not impressed. What, an old logo and inscription in the old fonts, change half of the car in white, and that's it? I have not seen a stunning livery in F1 for ages.
I hope it will not glow on the TV screen.

Re: Where would you like to see Vettel in 2020?
In Bahrain, the car broke, so it was not good enough or capable. In Baku, very questionable to judge according to FP's, surely Leclerc was not good enough to keep away from barriers and Mercedes had party mode anyway. In Canada, the stewards had their say and Vettel while won, lost at the F1 office...

Re: 2019 German Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thread
Chance of a wet one. An opportunity for Vettel to exorcise his demons? I'm guessing that will be the last thing that Vettel wants to see?  I don't think that Ferrari has an even amount of downforce compared to Mercedes, so I guess it's an old sickness of Ferrari's car in general. But...

Yeah, it's because those guys around think he is finished. Not in the least. Seems like they are taking advantage of the situation he has with uncompetitive car. Are you saying Vettel has an uncompetitive car? Yeah I thought it was an interesting observation. They've been a hairs breadth away from ...

You do realize that his contract is not up until AFTER next season, don't you? He won't be driving for another F1 team next year and I can't see him in Indycar or WEC either. I think he's going to be at Ferrari and that's where I would like him to be. Win or lose, he should finish out this era with...

The guy got a pole and won in Canada, only for some inept dudes to take that away from him, and now, six weeks after, he is finished? I will continue to attest to my controversial opinion that Vettel has never really been an elite quality driver. Did you ever consider his record-breaking nine straight victories in 2013 as of any importance or not? Hamilton was never able to do anything close to that, not even in the highly domina...

Don't be sarcastic. Bianchi killed himself by going fast in the yellow zone, hate to say but its so, and the rain played a big role in his slide. There was no rain today, and section is pretty straightforward with breaking zone to put the speed down anyway. That is bordering offensive! He didn't ki...

Re: 2019 British Grand Prix Race Thread
Had they left it, either Max or Seb would have hit it. So no, it was safer to remove the car. Although VSC would have been fairer. I don't know why they can't shut the pitlane under VSC? Just a yellow flag on that corner, and ahead of it, would have do it. There was nothing on the racetrack itself....

OK so they still aren't even lined up and the car has been cleared. So why on earth was it not dealt with under the VSC! Why not just leave the car there in the first place? I see some people mentioning Vettel. The guy has won in Canada, only to be stripped of a victory by the bastewards. More often than not, he seems to be the faster guy compared to Leclerc. He was even gaining on him in Austria.

Sorry to say, he has been on for a very bad ride in his life, but it's Kubica. Gasly is also there, as well as Giovinazzi. Ferrari lost it - yes, because they were unaware of the Max danger, and did tell Charles to push and build a gap. Leclerc lost it - yes, his defending was girlish, just sitting there on his line doing nothing. No aggression, not even a slight attempt to keep Max back. Red Bull won it - yes, they had...

There is an entire generation of F1 fans brainwashed to think that every little incident needs to be penalized. True. Yet the worst part is that the younger drivers tend to cry "foul". Hamilton did it in Canada, Norris today and Leclerc after him. Pussycats, crybabies. But at the end of the day, ev...

That 1980 spotted some of the most beautiful F1 cars ever, and became known as well for the dawn of the great pilots: Andretti, Fittipaldi, Scheckter, all of them had abysmal season. Reutemann and Watson too, for their standards.

One of the problems is that F1 has become very slow in solving their own problems. For example, last year was the first French GP at Paul Ricard after a long time. As the race came closer, the idea emerged that it would be better to remove the chicane. The late Charlie Whiting said, that's not possi...
