Re: Jessi Combs, race car driver and host, dies in jet-car c

RIP Jessie. I always enjoyed her time on Overhaulin and a couple of other programs. She was not just a pretty face either. Condolences to her loved ones. Jessie already held the record she was trying to break and the North American Eagle was hardly a "hackjob", but that is for a different thread.

Re: It's not the car, it's Lewis!

Vettel has been in a dominant Ferrari, set up to his specs, given Number 1 status, with a World Champion as a team mate and still didn't beat Hamilton. He needs poll, a clean start and clean air in a dominant car to win. Doesn't that indicate that Lewis tips the scales? Would like to exchange opini...

I think that if enough people want to do an activity and enough people are interested in it to make it a financial viable pursuit then it shouldn't be for anyone else to tell them their interest is unacceptable and prevent it from happening. I do agree to a certain extent but it's the responsibility of the governing body of the sport to make the series as safe as reasonably practicable. If the sport has outgrown Pocono making it unsafe for racing then IndyCar has a responsibility to act in the interest of safety. Now that could mean re...

Personally, I like the oval/road course mix. I don't see how blame for Sunday's accident can be p!aced anywhere but in Sato and perhaps his spotter. We go simply turned down when he wasn't even remotely clear of Rossi. That isn't the fault of the track. BTW, to be technical, Pocono isn't an oval, it...

How did the lap times look in the 4-5 laps before the red flag? How many cars put it into the wall during those laps?
