Why wouldn't he go there? I mean, in 5 years time when Red Bull Racing doesn't exist, that is.

Re: Which years regs are the best?
I know it wasn't popular, but I loved the 2005 quali sessions where everyone went out in the order they finished at the race before, and had 1 lap to go for it. Meant a tiny mistake cost you hugely, and if there was a rain shower half way through (I think that happened at Suzuka), you got all the f...

Re: When would you enforce team orders?
It depends. For example if one of the drivers is Vettel/Ham/Alonso and the other Massa/Kovalainen/di Resta of course from the beginning. If they are more closely matches just wait to see how things pan out until the 9-10th round. If there is a large gulf in talent then you won't be needing team ord...

Re: When would you enforce team orders?
I'd treat both drivers as equals and let them stand on their own merits. From the financial side, the WCC is more important than the WDC, and thus both drivers need to do as well as possible. Only when the WCC is secured and one driver is mathematically eliminated from the WDC race, would team orde...

When was the last time Alonso had a car able to finish qualy in the front row? Actually, yes. I do agree Vet and Ham are better qualifiers, but not more than a tench faster than him in equal machinery.tmzxaar wrote:Yes but Senna was and Vettel and Hamilton are better qualifiers than Alonso.

So if nobody has dominated in a weak car why is everyone saying Sebastian needs to do just that to prove his worth? My head is literally spinning. Becase he's been quite lucky. TR in 2008 was their best year and they generally had not an awful car, especially in Monza. RBR in 2009 - 2nd/3rd (3rd by...

Alonso although he made few mistakes in the latter part of the Grand Prix, not that it mattered. He'd probably have finished 7s behind Vettel instead of 9s-10s. He did a good race, especially considering Massa struggled to get past any of the McLarens. Very lucky with Webber's mechanical problems. N...

The last race that had a proper battle for the lead was the Hungarian GP, 3 months ago. What started out as an incredibly exciting season is turning rather dull. Very boring race indeed. Only one overtaking spot and the overtakes didn't even look good (except for maybe Alonso vs. the McLarens and the little dance between him and Webber). RBR have a dominant car so pretty straight forward.

His left front looks just on the white line (so that means it's in the track, right?) so no, it shouldn't. If it's actually outside of the white line I think it should be descounted at his second best lap in Q3 to be used to determine his starting position.
