Re: Thank you Fernando!
As an F1 fan, full respect to Indianapolis and the Indy 500 race. We use to think in Europe that oval racing is boring and all that stuff, and we associate it to things like NASCAR and so on. But Indy is no NASCAR, its a legendary and historic race that besides strategy and luck it takes skill and b...

Re: It's funny with all his bad luck I actually like Alonso
To say that Alonso was "at the center of the spying scandal" is completely ridiculous and j man should correct himself. Stepney and Coughlan were, no one else. Depends on how you look at it. It's not like he just knew about it, he actively discussed stolen data and that they should try things Ferra...

Wow, so much hate both of you... even with accusations that you have absolutely no idea about. Except for his knowledge of Crashgate not being proven, I'd say nothing is imagined there. Also, massive ego is one thing but I can't remember Senna, Schumacher, Hamilton or Vettel ever insulting or falli...

Re: It's funny with all his bad luck I actually like Alonso
I found Alonso quite difficult to like for much of his career. I've never doubted his talent ever since his first year in a competitive car in 2003 - two poles, a victory and incredible consistency for such a young driver earned him 6th in the championship in what was clearly the 4th best car. But ...

Re: Indy 500 2017
I'm not convinced there is any strategy beyond being lucky enough to have your pitstop match up with the timing of the cautions. The whole race seemed a complete lottery. They may as well pick a starting order out of a hat and then have a 30 lap sprint race because that was the only bit that matter...

I am fed up with all this nonsense of him not deserving a Formula One ride. This proves that if Alonso stayed he could get top 5th or 6th in quali and perhaps sneak on the podium. Alas. Well deserved criticism for someone who has shown he has not the talent for F1 and he is there due to money.
Maldonado was the same but at least he had more speed and more skills than him.

As for Vettel, it probably should be Austria (Red Bull Ring) - best result is 4th, retired in the other two. He was very strong in 2015 and 2016. Would've been third in 2015 without a delayed pit stop and had a tyre blowout while in front last year. 2014 not the best qualifying (albeit "only" .170 ...

Nope - its the track design's fault for having such a runoff area, riders are not to blame if the make a mistake there and they keep going wihout any consequence (same as F1) - blame the track design for allowing that. Vinales clearly gained nothing relative to Rossi so there would have been nothing to penalise.
