Its like someone getting killed by a very small meteorite and then everyone being forced to walk round with a ridiculous deflector hat on. F1 is dying. the engines were the lump that appeared overnight. the halo is the call to the doctors. you probably thought its just a harmless lump. but its not.

was interesting when the gearbox wouldnt fit and they had to make new studs or whatever they were. you get the impression honda would have taken 3 days to redesign and make it and the mclaren man was trying to explain they needed to make it now and they can make it inhouse. for williams sake i hope that sergey thoroughly outperforms stroll to at least massa level. at least then they will know they have at least one half decent driver. if not you are looking at 2 drivers that are probably 6-8 tenths off the best. maybe more at some tracks and less at others, but that is...

keep them. dressed in some smart traditional attire i cant see the problem. dressed in hotpants and a bra is too much. leave that to wrestling etc. plus we will need something on the grid to try and stop us glancing at the halos, which could damage our eyes and you end up missing the race.

thats more in line with what i thought PR but i dont know enough really. my basic point was for example if you can get an engine to provide the same torque at 5k rpm and 10k and there is no restriction in fuel, you would double the power and hence run the engine to higher revs. alien when you say th...

The end of your 2nd sentence is the nail on the head, it's more efficient to do it that way hence the lower revs. I guess what they are really proposing is moving that efficiency vs performance curve up the scale to the point where you get the best bang for your buck(revs). cutting the corner on the inside is different to running wide imo because you are shortening the track not lengthening it. dont know if the regs define any difference there. if the stewards decide that running wide is enough of an advantage they do warn or penalise but they obviously thought running...

I think you're the one spinning it here. Vettel had no reason to think Kimi had had such a lightning start. Depends if he looked in his mirrors. Normal service would have had him behind Max and therefore not Vettel's problem. Right, so under normal service he would have seen Kimi in his mirrors? If...

Vettel had no chance of seeing Kimi. He'd have been hard to spot in those tiny mirrors in the dry let alone through spray in mirrors that are also covered in rain. Put it this way Stroll's steering wheel does not turn towards Vettel.
