So would I but with the competition he is now facing, Massa cannot win the WDC. But methinks he will win a race - maybe even two - this season.

Vettel will win the WDC again but Raikkonen will finish second ahead of Alonso.

Re: Vettel move to Ferrari blocked by Alonso?

After their 2007 love-in, I doubt very much if Hamilton wants to be Alonso's teammate again and Alonso knows that well enough. That is likely to be the reason why he has not asked for a clause to keep Hamilton out. But I still believe that Vettel will be sitting in a Ferrari in 2015. Whether it is a...

I'm wondering if both Hamilton and Rosberg are planning to wear yellow helmets this year. If they do, how are we supposed to tell who is who? It was never an issue before as their teammates always had different helmets. Easy. Hamilton shakes his head from side to side slightly as he drives through ...

The 2013 Ferrari looks sleeker than its recent predecessors and could be quick. It is also the best looking car, edging out the McLaren. Somehow, I was not that much taken with the new Sauber, mainly because of the dull livery. The most horrendously ugly car is undoubtedly the RB9, with its lack of ...

Re: Which drivers would beat Vettel as a teammate in Redbull

Webber cannot be used as an example at all. Apart from the fact that he was used to the RBR's quirks long before Vettel came into the picture, there is not a great deal of time difference lap to lap. Also, Vettel is the type of a driver who does just what is necessary. He can up his game where requi...

Just like David Coulthards driving ability really. Both similar drivers, fast on their day but lack the consistency of a champion. To some extent, yes. But I feel that Webber is a more intrinsically talented driver than Coulthard. I don't think loss of concentration was a major issue with DC - he u...

IMO, I am more surprised that Red Bull even wanted to extend Webber's contract. He is a good driver and can be superb on his day but I really don't trust the guy - never have. The Hulk certainly deserves a top end car but I see him more as a McLaren driver than any other team. Since that was not an option in the above poll, I voted Red Bull.

IMO you don't need to imagine anybody replacing the one you put in Vettel's shoes, i.e. if you imagine e.g. Alonso at Red Bull, he would have been competing against himself. In other words the competition stays exactly the same as Vettel faced. Or you can put Vettel in his replacement's car. There ...
