One pit,one guy, greasy overalls, hand tools only, baseball cap on backwards, you have to phone for an appointment. All cars have to use the sole supplier............. What happened to racing? Agree with earlier point that accelerating even to a slower pitlane speed with a loose wheel probably still...

I never understand why drivers don't drive down the 'dirty' side more in free practice. It'll distort some of their trajectory ( I'm sure they can compensate) but it'll give less of a disadvantage starting on that side. After all, there's a 50/50 chance that they will. I split my time (not equally) between the Arctic and Old Montreal. Get tourists in both locations but slightly different breeds. It's always a lottery, in terms of no one know how the things are going to unfold with crashes, pitstops, strategies, caution periods. Starting position means little in Indy 500.
