Re: The Most Underrated Champion
A lot of this depends on each person's perspective and knowledge of history. For the majority that occupy forums like this, since it's English-speaking and heavily influenced by British tabloid media, such drivers as Mansell and Hamilton dominate, while others are casually dismissed. I could not ag...

Sticking with the cowboy/horse theme.... A cowboy rides into town, hitches his horse to the a rail then walks around and lifts the tail of his horse and plants a big wet kiss right on its pickle. a fellow watching all this asks him "Say, why did you kiss your horse on his pickle?" and the ...

I have a flagpole outside my house up which, if the result warrants it, I run a flag. We also open a bottle of champagne as an aperitif that evening. Less than favourable result? leave up the windsock and eat bread and water.

Re: FIA to reduce a cars turbo as a penalty in '14?
No. It also penalizes the poor SoB stuck behind Mr Wide'n'slow. And what happens when the turbo kicks back in? Penalties also need to be seen by the spectator; the TV viewer may get it but those actually in the crowd may not know why X suddenly slowed.

I left UK over twenty years ago so I'm not really current but do you really want to go somewhere where the economy is going down the crapper? Do you believe they won't tax you up the ying-yang to get out of that? I think proximity and ease of travel may be something of an illusion; what's another co...

I don't have a problem with Churchill on the fiver (I no longer live in the UK anyway) What I do have a problem with is the holier than thou types who come up with some specious argument against anyone you might want on a banknote. F1 Canuck. Could not agree more. By far the most civilised way to go is via Metro but I would add that leaving the circuit at the end of the day may be better by walking (I have a place in Old Montreal so I'm lucky) but it beats having your nose jammed in someone's armpit on a crowded Metro train.
