Re: Halo credited for saving life in F2 race

I think in the henry surtees case, the fia said that from analysis it would have definitelly helped.

The point some of us are making, at least i am trying to make, is that we don t see the racing being worse because of the halo.

Other aspects, besides the racing, i don t care for.

Re: Halo credited for saving life in F2 race

I think no one is making another one an idiot here. It s just some of us feel it s not worth for our own delight to see drivers facing unnecessary risks. Brake failure and crashing heavily because of it is unfortunatelly a risk a driver has to take when racing . Bouncing wheels or other flying objec...

So if you can't beat them then cheat? That's straight out of the Justin Gatlin book of sporting morals. I don't think paul_gmb supports cheating nor does he say that it is ok to cheat, how did you get to that conclusion? He only mentions that it was a great season as the racing was great. I can't s...

I am not a Verstappen fan, quite the contrary, but I fully understand why RBR are behind him. He is young, and definitely what happened in the first 4 races will not define his career. But if you treat this aspect wrong, it might result in him backing down too much. So they have to calm him down a ...

My personal feeling is that no one is very eager in signing Daniel. Merc are quite satisfied with Bottas. They don't need the complication. I would say 90% Ricciardo. Max picked his line, and was straight when shifting back. He braked after moving. His steering movements were minor. Dan was frustated because he came out behind Max, even though his pitstop was faster. He was beaten in the in- or outlap. Dan was never gonna make that cor...

Yes I don't disagree with any of that its just the first time ever really that Ferrari have employed strong visible favouritism so early in the year. The line has always been, no favouritism until one driver is established as the title challenger. For example last year in China, Kimi held Vettel up...

The car doesn't look that bad really and the engine is performing decently.

I am curious if slowly we are going back to the days when the engine was not really a major factor unless you were getting it totally wrong.
