I dont think they would want him. I might be wrong as they dont call it the 'silly season' for nothing.
I think the only team that Massa would fit back in to is Sauber. I just dont think he will get treatment he is used to from any other team which in turn will really effect his performance.

lol! Massa has only been mentioned twice in the line ups - once for Lotus (not gonna happen) & the other for Sauber (probable).

I cant see Mark actually hitting Seb on purpose, but if the WCC is already in the bag, I dont see him moving over for him either. If Redbull can activily 'switch off' his car from the pitlane, I can see this happening. Or just screw Mark over at a pitstop.

Re: Will Webber screw Vettel over?
I've been thinking about this & if there was a similar situation to what happened in Brazil last year (2012). In that race Vettel finished 6th & Webber 4th. If Vettel had needed 5th or higher to win the WDC, Webber could have pulled over & let Hulkenburg (who was 5th) & Vettel through. However, what...

My only worry is that is might spread the field out like it did in the 80s.
Teams used to qualify SECONDS ahead of the the next best team, not tenths of a second. It may be that one team has a massive engine advantage & the entire season will become a snoozefest!

Guys, just chill. The cars will sound like they did back in the 80s. I dont remember many people moaning about the sound then.
Can imagine the forums next year.......

Re: Are Mercedes doing a 'Ferrari'?
I can't really see which arguments support that Ferrari was on par with Red Bull and McLaren in the latter half of 2012. If i'm not mistaken Ferrari qualified in the top 3 once during that period. Doesn't seem like a car on pace with the frontrunners to me. Ferrari finished behind a Red Bull 7 out ...

Are Mercedes doing a 'Ferrari'?
Last season, during the first half the 2012, the Ferrari was very difficult to drive & the only fact that they got results was that Alonso was driving the wheels of the thing! (Credit where credit is due). Massa's best finish for the first half of the season was 4th in GB, but was 6th or lower for t...

I do think that their approach generally is worng. Here are some points I don't like about SF. Firstly, the way they treat their drivers is very sadistic and unfair. They Clearly define 1 & 2 and this is just unfair, it's not sporty. This gives route to choosing linear design approaches when it com...

If Massa wants to stay at Ferrari, then he's an idiot. Nothing more than a whipping boy that has to do as Ferrari commands like moving over & take penalties. Unless Ferrari build an all conquering 2014 car there's no way Massa will win again while Alonso is there. Also I don't think he has the all o...

@greenwizard13 - Wrong. He told Eddie that he was going to fight Ralf if he was allowed to pass him. Lets add a bit of fuel to the fire then: In Scenario 2, the team is Ferrari. The driver leading is Alonso & the second place man is obviously Massa. As per title. Not the fastest top speed, but the overall speed, over a full lap or race. Its always hard to judge the speed of cars nowadays as even old tracks have been altered so 'Lap Records' become somewhat redundant. So, theoretically speaking - If you took the best car from every year since; l...

ok, maybe 'inventing' was a bit misleading. I was more interested in the introduction of the technology to F1.
Eg. Did one team introduce the 'Anti Stall' system & everyone else copied. On was it a full introduction made by all the teams; a bit like DRS.

We all know of the designs that can help win championships - the double diffuser, the flexi wing or the F-Duct. I have no idea if Massa got screwed over in the race to let Alonso through, And we will probably never know.
But what I do know is that is always the Ferrari's 'No.2' driver that has all the issues - bad pit stops, bad strategies & poor reliability. Its been like that since Schumacher days.
