Re: Driver(s) of the Day - Malaysian Grand Prix
Hamilton - faultless all weekend really (or as close to) Vettel - again didn't put a foot wrong really Alonso - the man is just brilliant Hulkenberg - same as Alonso. The fight between the two was class Kobayashi - almost forgot he was driving a Caterham I think! Makes me wonder if previous Caterham...

And there was me thinking F1's main aspect was about racing, not just noise. If the sport was all about noise, just go get a spiced up engine in your garage and run it until your ears bleed. Personally I'd prefer to go to a race and not sit there thinking "holy f**k, my ears hurt". I'd rather enjoy ...

Re: What will happen first?
Option one would not be a first. Arguably, neither would option two. Given that the turbo-charged V6 is hardly unprecedented, the first likely first would surely have to be ten straight wins? Some other possible firsts: - First win for an Austrian team on home soil - First win by a German driver fo...

So, the race where cars struggle to overtake and struggles to excite the viewers is now worth 50 points/86 points (constructors)... so we'll have the highest points paying formation race ever? Thoughts from Quali... Red Bull in a different league, superb as ever Vettel even better again. I thought Webbo's second lap was good, but Seb's final sector? Wow! From what I heard on Sky, Kimi made the strategy choice, but I could have misheard. If that is the case, then Kimi screwed Kimi. Had it paid off, it would have been great. I'm a fan of the sport first and foremost, I don't think I've ever turned off a race no matter how boring. The GP was genuinely exciting, with more action than the last 3 races combined. You missed a lot, and Vettel didn't get very far away.

Yes but as a legitimate fan I also want the cars to look good. If every car this year had a vanity plate, would the racing be noticeably worse than if they all had a stepped nose?
