Re: Vettel is the new Schumacher and Red Bull the new Frrar
Then how come you don't assess evidence objectively but twist and mould it to fit your preconceived notion that he's not that good? Same reason you don't assess evidence objectively but twist and mould it to fit your preconceived notion that he is good (or at least 'the best') :) i.e. fundamentally...

Re: Vettel is the new Schumacher and Red Bull the new Frrar
Do you make any room for the possibility that you might be wrong? Of course, which is why I'd like to see him move to another team sooner rather than later. If he really is the dog's wotsits then he'll perform to that same level elsewhere and demonstrate clearly he is what he is made out to be (I a...

Re: Vettel is the new Schumacher and Red Bull the new Frrar
How good is Vettel really? Who knows. I don't understand why people are so desperate though, if you are so sure he's only average at best at some point he will have a car that is not good enough to fight for the title and he will have a teammate who will beat him and expose him. It's just a matter ...

You are correct. He was shown three blue flags and one blue board. While Kimi was shown 7 blue flags and 4 blue boards before he moved over. For those saying he went a full lap, you are simply wrong. He went from turn 3 to just past turn 10. Sutil has a right to complain about the inconsistency bec...

they are ruining it with their obsession with safety Well seeing as you don't seem to care about the harm that comes to people, I shall give you a cynical and self-interested argument as to why safety is important. Unless there's another manufacturer who has 'secretly' manufactured & tested F1 tyres for 2014, F1 has a lot to lose if Pirelli choose to quit and the old boys in FIA & FOM will know that. I do think there's more happening behind the scenes than we know. Bernie might be greedy, but he ain't stupid....

Re: If Hamilton was at RBR this year, he'd be at least 2nd n
But we don't have a comparison for how fast Webber could have gone without the damage. In this instance we didn't get an 'end of the race' fastest lap from Vettel as a baseline, although I do recall a monster first sector from him on the final lap, which suggests a lot of pace in hand. Webber's fas...

It seems you rather missed the point of the comparison, which was to point out that Messi too is lumbered with this apparent need to 'prove himself' and criticisms based on people looking for some way of discrediting him to fit their preconceived notions. As for what you've decided to do in a compa...

Just regarding Webber yesterday I think his car was damaged when van der Garde turned in on him while being lapped, which made it more difficult for him to hold off Alonso. Didnt seem to hamper him from achieving the fastest lap of the race at the very end of the race. I don't know that that provid...

Re: Marshal Killed in Canada
It appears to be after the race in the pit lane exit. He ran him straight over, which seems very odd as the visibility in that crane is much better than a car. This is the original clearing of the car during the race. Picture I from I have read he man bent down to pick up his radio and then it happ...

I know they complain a lot but I've only seen them struggle in China and Spain. Otherwise they've been very strong. Aside from qualifying the Ferrari doesn't appear to have much of a weakness, but when the track suits the RBR looks fairly unbeatable. Ferrari only seem to be able to take the fight t...

Where do you get that impression from? And I think many would agree that the Ferrari is the best car on the grid at the moment? Don't think so. I'd say the RBR is the best, just Webber's not making the most of it. The Ferrari seems to have good race pace but struggles in qualifying, a weakness the ...

I just hope his family get adequately compensated for this. Fans have a right to an opinion about their sporting entertainers. I wish Massa had won the 2008 WDC.
