What would be the 'perfect tire'?
So this season was made interesting mainly by the tires, teams were struggling to understand them and manage to switch them on. But what type of tire is the best? One that 'drops off the cliff' suddenly and loses grip, one that allows the driver to push the car hard for longer periods of time, or on...

= I do hope they get rid of him for next year. Dare I say that Georgie actually knows a LOT more about F1 than Simon as she's always followed it. IMO even she could be a better option (Tho I'd prefer someone new brought in) I thought that when Georgie done the FP and I think a few Qualis, she...

How can you vote for Vettel on the fact that he came back from having a spin, he caused the spin by having a bad a start and turning into senna.

Lewis would of smashed Jenson this year if not for all of his reliability issues and bad pit stops, i think that's fairly obvious.

Perez already had flashes of "look at me, my uncle is rich" behaviour before (though his sponsor is not his uncle anyway). His humor attempt was rather poor perhaps even slightly racist considering that there are virtually no blondes in his country: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rc0Kvkm2n6I I don'...

Re: If Kimi wasn't at Lotus this year
Kimi has been excellent this year, i wonder what he would have done had he been not out of F1 for 2 years! Renault/Lotus have been competitive since 2010 and he would have done a good job with Kubica in 2010. Maybe with a more "involved" driver they could have gotten better results, but I think Kim...

Re: If Kimi wasn't at Lotus this year
He is almost single handedly putting them at the 4th in standings, generated so much hype about the team, gained them millions and millions of fans and put Lotus under the spot lights so many times this year, being on the podium almost half of the races. And there's no doubt of his contribution of ...

meanwhile Force India just got a fresh $50 mill for next year. Hamilton had a different line to Vettel going through the s bends, that was when he was closing the gap, thats where i think the Mclaren was fastest, maybe because of how Lewis was driving it. But overall i think they were very close.

Hmmm, not sure if you're serious but I'll assume you are. A couple of things.. 1. No one does more to turn F1 into a soap opera than Alonso and Ferrari. So if "this is racing" as you say, then maybe that's why I prefer drivers who stick to the racing. 2. Are you seriously saying that if someone is ...

I do when my favorite drivers have a good grid position, especially when lewis is on pole! Oh yeah that sounds about right, it's pretty bad for me because I support Webber, though he's out of the battle. I guess supporting Webber you pretty much already know whats going to happen at the start lol.

Up until this race, I was indifferent as to whether Seb or Alonso won the WDC - both deserved it. However... after the latest stunt pulled by Ferrari/Alonso - I hope Seb wins. Re: Does Ferrari have some special planned for Brazil>
The agressive DRS system of the Ferrari has a weakness in it that means when it is closed the air flow does not reattach to the diffuser immediately meaning a significant lack of downforce entering a corner which of course means a slower quali lap as DRS is used all the time and they become nervous...

Re: Why do so many Hamilton fans hate Jenson Button
Here's one take on it. When Hamilton came in in 2007, and had that extraordinary year, Button was struggling with the dog that was the RA107. A lot of people who quickly got behind Hamilton, having never followed F1 extensively beforehand, would have seen the other Englishman doing nothing special,...

I think the back markers are a bit of a joke TBH, nothing against them but I'm not sure exactly what they contribute. Also adding more dross drivers to the lineup is just gonna cause more problems, it would be better to get rid of pay drivers and only have the absolute best drivers in seats IMO alt...
