That depends on how you count Austria. Technically Nico started 6th, but he did the work for 2nd place. Still a very impressive achievement, dominant car or not.

Not to be 'that guy' but in future, to deter people more from taking a second near-free practice skip, is it worth penalising 15 for FP1, AND 18 for FP2 AND 25 for FP3? I realise that's a heavier hit by almost three times [and that I would have taken a 33 point hit rather than 18 earlier this year]...

No but I'm in favour of a sprint race to decide the grid on Sunday instead of the borefest qualifying we have . Free practice can decide the order on the grid for the sprint race. Qualifying is, hands down, the most exciting and engaging session of a modern Grand Prix. I don't know how anyone can c...

Exactly. It's pretty telling that if you even out the unreliability, Hamilton would already be Champion. I don't know how you can come up with such a confident statement, especially considering that some of the unreliability is very difficult to measure in impact. Okay, so Malaysia's easy: 25 point...

Not to mention that the '95 Benetton was more difficult to drive than Schumacher let on, as Alesi and, especially, Berger found out in the tests after the 1995 season.
