Re: 2020 Austrian Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thre
Uh oh, we're in for a boring and uncompetitive mini-season aren't we. Urgh, I'd hoped that Covid could somehow help F1 in the short term making things artificially close and having an exciting fight, but instead it seems to have exacerbated F1's problems. I don't think F1 as a whole is worse at all...

Re: Rosberg reveals some truths
Just quickly watched his view on the Hamilton incident. As you can see, he jokes about Hamilton pushing him off the road on T1 at Austin. This is the dominant feature of the Hamilton vs Rosberg era. Rosberg outlines after, that Hamilton could always find that 'grey' area between getting a penalty a...

Re: F1, Racism & BlackLivesMatter
It used to annoy me back in 2008 when Hamilton was referred to as F1's first black world champion. I recall James Allen saying it a few times. Why did it matter that Hamilton was black, isn't he just another racing driver like all the rest before him? All it does is draw attention to skin tone when ...

Re: F1, Racism & BlackLivesMatter
Weren't Bernie's comments free speach like Hamilton's? Both are alluding to unproven racism occuring right? Either both are ok to do it or both are not ok to do it. I don't like the way that Bernie's in trouble and Hamilton (among others) are not.

This is something that has been puzzling me. Does anyone know why it is called ''Coronavirus'' and not ''Corona Virus''? For example you can catch a ''Flu Virus'' but not a ''Fluvirus'' and you can catch ''Human Immunodeficiency Virus'' but not ''Human Immunodeficiencyvirus'' nor ''Humanimmunodefici...

If this did happen, would this count as an 'independent' F1 team turning into a 'manufacturer' F1 team? We haven't got many independent teams as it is, Williams is one example of course.

Maybe it's the wording that's just wrong then? It's a list of none WDC drivers that raced alongside WDC's, some past some future ones, other drivers could also be included like say Vandoorne, Piquet Jnr etc, for me there's not really a clear definition . Exactly so why be so pedantic about somethin...

Re: Rank the number twos
Kimi needed Massa to help him to his crown in 2007 and showed some flashes of speed in his early days, but he drove like a number two driver for most of the second half of his career and he made Vettel look fantastic in comparison. Is Kimi not a number two driver? Both Massa and Kimi were number tw...

Like I've said before when was either Webber or Trulli treated like a #2 driver? The definitions seem quite murky to me, there are the definite ones like Irvine, Barrichello, Massa and Kimi but some others are less defined, even last season Hamilton on occasion I would say got disadvantaged in rega...

Re: Rank the number twos
Why isn't Button down as one of the options? He was a solid number two to Ralf Schumacher in 2000, then a bad number two to Fisichella in 2001. Then he was a very good number two to Hamilton from 2010 to 2012, (despite crashing into him in Canada 2011, he made up for it by winning the grand prix). T...

Re: Rank the Drivers Poll (End of Season 2019)
I voted Albon 13th, and I do indeed believe everyone below him (Magnussen, Gasly, Grosjean, Kyvat, Giovianzzi, Stroll, Kubica) would by 0.6+ seconds off Max. I think it's actually pretty typical that a third of the drivers on the grid would be about that far off the best. Magnussen was as quick as ...

Re: Rank the Drivers Poll (End of Season 2019)
I'm guessing all the people that think Albon is around 10th place means that all the drivers in the bottom half of the field would be 0.6+ seconds off Verstappen which means we would have a very weak grid overall. For example Raikkonen, Hulkenberg and Russell are all seen as being worse drivers tha...

Is there always a meeting between race control and the drivers, every race weekend without fail? If so, why? Well Leclerc drove like that knowing that he probably would get away with it. I don't think Kimi would drive like that even if he would get away with it.
