I've read lot's of discussion trying to apportion blame to both Mercedes an Hamilton. Hamilton's mistake was paranoia. Mercedes mistake was ignoring common sense and all the data they had available to them. IMHO Merc were most at fault because they had all the data and had no need to second guess it...

I'd say Schumi, and Seb have had the most years of their careers where they were in WDC competetive cars.
Hamilton has the chance to eclipse those guys though if the Mercedes team carry on like they have.
