Re: 2015 Japan GP Free Practice thread
I think this weekend Rosberg has the biggest chances to beat Hamilton. It's a track that suits him very much and not Hamilton. Especially cause now it rained in p1 and p2, it's more difficult for Ham to master a tricky track for him. It's these kind of tracks where Ros can challenge him, like Barce...

Re: 2015 Singapore Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
Has anybody paid attention to Ferrari/Red Bull starts in the last two races, since we went manual? Both Vettel and Ricciardo had good starts at Spa and Monza. Overall i can't remember Vettel ever losing 1st place on an opening lap. Ricciardo has the occasional nightmare China 2011. Got beaten to th...

Re: 2015 Italian GP Race Thread
As a Lewis fan, I don't mind the Ferraris jumping Hamilton at the start and leading into the first corner. My big worry is Lewis getting a dnf.
With the package he's got, he can easily get passed 4 to 5 cars, including his teammate.

Hamilton overtaking Sutil and Vettel at the same corner. China 2010. Lewis on Rosberg. Australia 2010. Ricciardo on Vettel. Monza 2014. Alonso on Webber. Spa (can't remeber the year). Lewis on Alonso. Nurburgring 2011. Impressive as he defended against Webber from doing the same move to him on the p...

Re: 2015 Spanish Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
The way Lewis has been on recent race starts, I see him leading the race into turn 1 Spain is certainly a track that gives plenty of room into turn one for that scenario, doesn't it? It surely does. We have seen how cautious Nico gets during race starts. He has to be aggressive or he might lose mor...

Re: 2015 Bahrain Grand Prix Race Thread
Rosberg was really not happy with p3 yesterday, more even than Malaysia. By saving or not taking too much out of his tyres in q2, was he trying to do what Lewis did in China? That is to set quick sector times during pitstop phase and jump his team mate. That would have been feasible had he qualified...

Re: Three vaguely realistic things you want to see in 2015
1. Ferrari, MC, Williams and RB to be competitive as the Mercs. Kind of like MC and Ferrari in 07 and 08 or RB and MC in 2012.
2. Poles and wins to be fought between the driver's of these teams.
3. Lewis to win the WDC

Re: Who Really is the Best Driver in Formula One?
Why do people always say 2011 was a season to forget. Ok it was not his best in terms of him having many contacts on track, but let's not forget 2 of Hamilton's best wins came in that season. In China where he was passing people right and left, including a stunning moves on his team mate and Vettel....

I think this maybe right. I constantly find myself re watching old races, especially in the off season. Besides f1 the other sport I follow is football and I can say I don't have any recording of any game, whereas I have almost all the races since 2007.
