Re: Who is the least Supported driver?

Paul di Resta, I just don't like the guy for some reason and I'm not sure why.. from the very first time I heard him speak in an interview I was just 'nah' don't care about him at all. All the ones I 'follow' to some degree are people I think I'd enjoy having a beer and a chat with, driving ability...

Will Seb break MS records - 7 World Chamiponships & 91 wins

Will Vettel win 7 World Championships. Or actually 8 if he is to beat Michael Schumacher?

Will he win 91 races. Or 92 if he is to beat MS?

Which is more likely?

Re: Mclaren offering Button 1 year deal

Whitmarsh already hinted at "another try" for Perez, which potentially means they may show him the door if the performance isn't there next year... With Button also gone, they may have two seats to fill... as a manager, it would suck for it to be so. Why? Alonso has a contract, so does Vettel, so d...

Re: Hulkenburg to Ferrari?

He might be a little young, but he's probably less of a gamble than Massa was. Actually Hulkenbergs F1 curriculum is very similar to Massa's before he joined Ferrari. I would like this on the one hand. On the other hand, I do hope his talent would not go wasted next to Alonso, who seems to be a ver...

Re: Looks like F1 will have a pretty similar grid for 2014.

With financial worries no longer an issue Sauber wont need to bring in a pay driver. Move Hulk to Ferrari to partner Alonso & move Massa down to Sauber to partner Bianchi. Sergey Sirotkin has already signed for Sauber 2014, and Ferrari want Bianchi in the midfield so it's likely Sauber 2014 will be...

Re: Button to re-sign with McLaren for 3 years

He's a difficult one to really assess. Obviously he's a great driver. His stats bear that out. Including being a World Champion. On one hand he has proven to be as fast as anyone on his day, very consistent and a pragmatist and strategist. But he doesn't appear to have quite the same fire as the Ham...

I think the right answer was already posted: As good as it gets. 99 races, 27 wins I think. His smooth driving was even more important with the cars of his day. He learnt from the very best, Jim Clark. Should be included in any top 10 list, possibly top 5 or even higher. IMO.

I am under the impression that Kimi Raikonnen's family was quite poor. There was a story I heard that when he got his first cheque from McLaren that he built his parents a proper bathroom.

If the world championship was at stake then they would, without a doubt. Even Mark Webber. And it is completely legal at this point. If the driver wouldn't do it then the team might just disable the car to achieve it (is that even possible?).

Button the smart choice for Ferrari?

I think that Button would work very well at Ferrari. He would certainly push Alonso on most days and would always be there to pick up the pieces if Alonso doesn't quite perform. He wouldn't upset the balance becase that is not his personality. He could be the perfect fit for the next two years. From...

It could also be that Kimi and his team felt that they were waiting for Red Bull to make a decision. Maybe they are hoping tha...

No way would Vettel lead a race in the Torro Rosso unless perhaps he was out of sequence with pistops after the first stop, i think Hulkenberg did similar in the Sauber, likewise Di Resta/Sutil in the FI? I said ages ago on the Lewis moving debate - that Brawn/Merc must have had something on the table to show Hamilton to encourage his Macca 'defection'. The big threat for Red Bull next year is Mercedes. Vettel is reported to earn 12 million Euros while Alonso and Hamilton rportedly earn 20 million. You could argue that this is because he was born out of the YDP.
